"Have all the preparations been made?" Erwin asks out loud. Many people start hurriedly answering him, telling him everything that has been accomplished. He smiles happily. "I'm glad to hear that. We leave tomorrow morning, then. Would you please start informing everyone, and tell them to pass the word along?"

All of the subordinates nod, quickly running off. Only Levi and Erwin remain in the small room.

"Have you packed all your things?" Levi asks, noticing the dusty shelves. He's tempted to go wipe them off.

"I've been packed for a few days," Erwin says, straightening out some papers on his desk. "I've heard you're yet to pack," he adds, raising a questioning eyebrow at the smaller man.

"I'll get around to it."

"She is coming, you know."

"That's irrelevant, Commander," Levi waves dismissively. "Either way, if I may be excused."

"Going to pack now?" Erwin asks with a slight smile.

Levi narrows his grey eyes at the tall man, scrunching up his eyebrows. He glares at him for a few seconds before heading for the door. "I'll see you at dinner, Commander."

"No, I refuse to ride in a carriage! I want to ride a horse!" Nora whines, leaning against the outer wall of headquarters for support. The doctor shakes her head.

"The buck of the horse will make you miserable the entire journey. You need a smoother ride."

"I'm not worried about that!"

"You should be! You still haven't healed completely!"

"I've healed enough!"

Both of the women cross their arms, staring down one another. "Remove your shirt," she says. Nora blushes.

"Right here?"

"I want to look at your bandages."

"Here?"

The doctor stares at her flatly. Finally, she sighs, removing her leather uniform jacket and the white tee shirt underneath it. She's left in only her chest bandages and the undergarments underneath them.

The doctor takes them off, and Nora blushes furiously. When she looks around, she notices no one's paying much attention to her. These soldiers have seen much worse than a shirtless girl.

The female doctor pulls her bandages tighter, causing Nora to whimper some. "If you're going to ride, I need these tighter," she says, finally securing the bandages. "Don't be surprised if this leaves some bruises." She pulls a pad of paper from her labcoat and scribbles a note on it. "You can get dressed again. Give this to the doctor when you get there."

"You're not coming?" Nora asks, pulling her white shirt over her head.

"I will be there, but given the circumstances of the move it may take me a few hours to set myself up. There's already doctors there, making sure the infirmary is ready before you get there."

Nora smiles in response. As pushy and unreasonable as Doctor Lisa was, Nora knew she always meant well. She was a kind older woman, who had lost all of her family when the Titans broke through Wall Maria. Her children were killed then, and her husband was one of the men sacrificed for the mission to reclaim Wall Maria.

Nora had hated her parents, so she never really had a mom. Doctor Lisa was the closest thing to one. She took solace in the fact that her doctor would be at the castle headquarters with them.

"I still think that it's bad for you to be sitting up straight on a horse for a few hours," Doctor Lisa sighs.

"What if she rides with someone? She could lean on that person, so she wouldn't be upright." Armin asks, rushing to Nora's side.
