(Emily's POV)

May 10th
8 1/2 months pregnant

12:30 A.M

I wake up to kicks and pains in my stomach. I feel around my stomach, feeling taps on my stomach, "Damn it, why are you so painful to carry?", I ask her silently. I feel more pain and clutch my stomach, trying to stop the pain, "Ems, you okay?", asks Daniel silently as he sits up in bed. Tears flow down my cheeks as the pain gets worse, "It hurts Daniel", I say sadly, still clutching my stomach. Daniel looks at me worriedly, "I think it's time", he says. I look up at him scared, "What do you mean it's time?", I ask scared. Daniel sighs, getting out of bed and getting some clothes on, "The baby is coming today, come on, get dressed, we need to go to the hospital", he says as he gets his coat on. I nod, scared, "Okay", I say as I get off the bed, the pain lingering in my stomach. I then feel this blast of pain, going on through my body, "Owwww", I say crying. Daniel hauls me up from the ground, putting his hand on my stomach, "Come on, she's gonna be here soon", he says as he helps me to the car. I nod, tears pouring down my cheeks, "It hurts", I say crying. Daniel comes up to me and strokes my wet cheek, "I know Ems, it's gonna be okay, I'll be with you the whole way through, I promise", he says. I nod, getting my coat on, the pain so bad now that it's hard to move without feeling a knife stab through your stomach. As I stand up, I feel a liquid run down my legs and soak my sweatpants, "Um Daniel, we need to hurry", I say scared. Daniel turns around and looks at my sweatpants, "SHIT! COME ON, LET'S GO", he exclaims as we head out the door. I get in the back seat, the pain getting worse, "Daniel, please start driving", I say, breathing in and out. Daniel nods and starts the car, driving away.

30 minutes later

"Hello Mam, I'm Dr. Arnolds and I'll be helping you deliver the baby", she says. I nod, beads of sweat coming down my forehead, "Emy, you ready to push soon?", asks Daniel as he holds on to my hand. I look up at him scaredly, "Please no, no", I say, tears coming down my cheeks. Daniel strokes my messy hair, "It's gonna be okay", he says softly. I then see the doctor come back in the room, "Okay, she's ready to push", she says as she puts a blanket over my knees. I look up at Daniel scared, "Daniel", I say softly. Daniel looks at me with a smile, "It's gonna be okay, I promise, soon, we'll have a daughter", he says. I nod, "Okay, I'm gonna tell you to push in 1...2...3...now", says the doctor.

2 hours later

"She's beautiful", says Daniel. I hold our daughter in my arms, looking down at her sleeping face, "Yeah she is", I say, smiling softly. Daniel sighs with a smile, "I'm gonna call Charlotte and Nolan", he says as he heads out of the room, dialing on his phone. I look back down at our daughter sleeping, wrapped in her baby blanket. I look to see she has Daniel's nose, his hands. I smile, "Hey Ems, Charlotte, and Nolan are on their way, how is our daughter doing?", he asks as he comes to the side of the bed. I smile, seeing she's waking up, "Good, been calm ever since she went into my arms", I say. I look to see her yawning, sucking on her thumb and looking up at me, "She has your hair Emy", says Daniel with a smile. I smile, "She has your eyes", I say. Daniel smiles, "I can't believe we're parents, it seems like this is a whole dream", he says. I chuckle softly, "It does feel like a dream", I say as I rock our daughter. I then look to see the nurse coming into the room with a birth certificate, "Have you decided what to name her?", she asks softly. I look up at Daniel, "I'm sorry, I totally forgot what we agreed on as a name", I say softly. Daniel smiles, "Ella, Ella Bree Grayson", he says softly. I smile and look down at our daughter, "Her name is Ella Bree Grayson", I say. The nurse smiles and nods as she hands us the birth certificate, "Here you go!", she says. I take the birth certificate, looking at the beautiful handwriting on the nice piece of paper, "Thank you!", I say. The nurse nods and walks out of the room. I sigh, smiling at Ella, "Hey new parents, I'm here!!!!", I hear Charlotte exclaim. I turn to see her in the doorway, smiling at me, "Hey Char", I say. Charlotte walks over to Daniel, looking over his shoulder, "Well Danny, you're officially a father, how do you feel about that?", she asks. Daniel smiles big, "I feel like the happiest man alive", he says. Charlotte chuckles, "Omg, is this Baby Grayson?', she asks as she comes to the side of the bed. I nod, "Yep, this is Ella", I say. Charlotte gasps, "Awe omg, that is the cutest name ever!", she says. I laugh, seeing Ella squirm in her blanket, "I guess she likes the name", says Daniel with a smile. I chuckle, looking down at my bundle of joy, "Welcome to the world, Ella", I say happily. Ella laughs with her baby voice, reaching her hands out as she starts stretching, "Ok, the mother has to stay in the hospital until tomorrow, then she can go home, the father can bring the baby home", says the nurse as she fixes my vitals. I nod, yawning as I hand Daniel our baby girl, "You know where all the baby stuff is?", I ask him. Daniel nods, "Yep, don't worry, I got this", he says with a reassuring smile. I nod, "I'll see you back home tomorrow", I say. Daniel smiles and kisses me on the forehead, "I'll take great care of her, I promise", he says as he cradles Ella. I smile and yawn, "Can I say bye to her before you leave?", I ask. Daniel nods and hands her to me, "Bye baby, I'll see you soon", I say as I kiss her on the forehead. Ella sucks on her thumb, calmed as Daniel cradles her again, "Bye bye!", I say as I close my eyes, falling asleep.

(Daniel's POV)

I smile as Emily falls asleep, closing her eyes and slowly breathing. I sigh, looking down at Ella as she starts to fall asleep, "Ella is a sleepy one", says Charlotte next to me. I smile, "Just like her mother", I say. Ella finally falls asleep, her breathing soft and elegant, "Well, it's getting late, see you later Danny", says Charlotte as she pats my back. I smile, "Thank you so much for coming!", I say softly. Charlotte smiles, "Of course, becoming a parent is a big thing, wanted to be there for my brother's moment of becoming a parent", she says with a smile. I smile, "Thank you, I'll see you later!", I say. Charlotte smiles and kisses Ella on the top of her head, "Bye honey, you're so beautiful, like your mother", she says with a smile as she heads out of the hospital. I smile and head right behind her, getting in the car and heading home.
