(Emily's POV)

Emily is 7 months

"Emily, do you know where my suitcase is?", I hear Daniel ask from downstairs. I look up from my book, sighing, "It's where you last left it", I call out, going back to my book. I then hear Daniel come upstairs, "I know you moved it, it's not where I left it, I left it on the couch and it isn't there", he says as he comes into the room. I look up from my book, "Daniel, you just didn't look hard enough and I don't move your stuff!", I say as I get out of bed, walking downstairs. I then find it on the couch, behind the pillow, "I found it, Daniel!", I call out from downstairs. I then look to see Daniel coming downstairs, "Oh! Sorry, hun!", he says softly as he grabs his suitcase from my hands. I raise my eyebrows, "You gotta look harder", I say. Daniel sighs, "I'm sorry, I'm tired today! I feel crappy", he says softly. I look at him worriedly, "Let me check you out", I say as I put the back of my hand on his forehead. I look at him worriedly, "Your head is warm, change into some pajamas and get in bed!", I say worriedly as I take his suitcase from him. Daniel sighs, "Ems, I'm fine, I gotta head to work", he says as he grabs for his suitcase but I pull it away from him. I look at him softly, "Daniel, your head is really hot, you might have a fever, can I please check you out?", I ask softly. Daniel sighs, "Fine but, I need to go to work", he says as he sits on the couch. I nod, getting a thermometer and putting it in his mouth, "Ems, I'm fine!", he says as I take the thermometer out of his mouth. I look at the temperature, "You're staying home till your feeling better, you have a temperature of 103 F", I say worriedly. Daniel looks up at me softly, "But I have to go to work today, I have a big meeting!", he says in a begging tone. I sigh, "Daniel, you have a fever, you are not gonna go to work, reschedule the meeting", I say as I take Daniel's suit off. Daniel raises his eyebrows, "You really think you can keep me here?", he asks with a small smile. I nod, "Yeah, you have a fever, your gonna stay", I say sternly. Daniel sighs, "Fine but, you have to do me a favor", he says. I nod, "I'm not gonna do you a favor, you are sick and that's that", I say softly. Daniel nods, "I know but, please just do me a favor?", he asks in a cute voice. I roll my eyes, sighing, "Fine what?", I ask softly. Daniel smiles, "Well, can you cuddle with me? You never cuddle with me anymore", he says softly. I sigh, "Fine but, you have to promise you won't engulf me in a cuddle, I get hot at night", I say. Daniel smiles, "Thank you!", he says. I nod, "Now, I'm gonna make you some soup, stay on the couch", I say as I go into the kitchen. Daniel sits up on the couch, "Ems no, I should be the one treating you, not the other way around", he says as he gets up off the couch. I softly push him back down, "Well, I'm taking care of you today!", I say. I then get a blanket and put it over him, "I wanna get you well, don't worry about me, worry about yourself", I say softly. Daniel sighs, "Okay, I guess you can treat me like a baby", he says, rolling his eyes. I smile, "Good, here is your soup!", I say as I hand him so soup. Daniel smiles, "Thank you! Can you come cuddle with me?", he asks softly. I smile, "Sure!", I say. I then sit next to him on the couch, laying my head on his shoulder. Daniel strokes my hair, "If I didn't have you, I wouldn't be the person I am today!", he says as he looks down at me, smiling. I smile, "I didn't think you would ever say that", I say. Daniel smiles and bops my nose, "Hey, how many months are you?", he asks me as he puts his hand on my baby bump. I smile, "7 months, why?", I ask softly. Daniel smiles as he rubs my baby bump, "Just asking, thought you weren't keeping track", he says. I nod, "Daniel, how many kids do you want?", I ask softly, snuggling up next to Daniel. Daniel looks down at me and puts his arm around me, "I don't know honestly, I think I'm fine with just Ella", he says with a smile. I smile, "First though, we need to get this parenting thing down", I say with a smile. Daniel laughs, "I think I need it more than you, I'm struggling", he says. I look up at Daniel, "You are struggling? How?", I ask softly. Daniel sighs, "I don't know it's just, I feel like I am struggling", he says softly. I laugh, "Daniel, Ella isn't even born yet, you haven't screwed up or anything", I say softly. Daniel looks down at me, "Really?", he asks me softly. I nod and smile at him, "Yes, your gonna be a perfect father, I know it!", I say happily. Daniel smiles, "Thank you but, you'll be the better parent, I know it!", he says with a small smile. I shrug my shoulders, "I guess", I say with a small smile. Daniel smiles, "Be prepared to wake up at 3 in the morning just to give her attention or feed her", he says with a smile. I sigh, "Great!", I say sarcastically. Daniel laughs, kissing my cheek, "Don't worry, we are gonna be fine!", he says with a happy tone. I smile, putting my hand on my stomach, "Yep, we are", I say. I then yawn, feeling tired, "You tired already?", asks Daniel. I nod, laying my head on his chest, "Yeah", I say softly as I close my eyes, falling asleep.
