Maybe He Is Good

(Emily's POV)

"Aiden! What are you doing here?", I ask softly. Aiden sighs, "I have something to tell you", he says. I nod, letting him in, "What the hell is he doing here?", says Daniel annoyed. I sigh, "He has something to tell me", I say. Daniel comes over to me, putting his hands on my shoulders, "Don't you dare sleep with my wife! You stay away with her!", he says. I turn around, looking at Daniel, "We are not together anymore Daniel! He just came to talk to me!", I say softly. Daniel sighs, "Sorry Aiden it's just, you know!", he says softly. Aiden nods, "I understand", he says. Aiden then looks at Daniel and I, "Someone sent me to kill you!", he says softly. I look at Daniel, "Victoria, I say softly. Daniel sighs, "Why did you come to tell us this?", he asks. Aiden sighs, "Because I don't want to kill you guys! You guys are my friends", he says softly. I smile, "Well thank you but, Victoria is gonna find out your not gonna kill us and kill you", I say worriedly. Aiden shakes his eyes, "She won't as long as I tell her I killed you", he says. Daniel sighs, running his hands through his hair, "Now we have to go into hiding? My mother has gone too far!", I say madly. I rub Daniel's shoulder, "We don't have to go into hiding, we need a plan! She can't kill us because Nolan shot Theo and Aiden won't shoot us so,  we aren't in danger", I say softly. Daniel looks at me like I'm crazy, "WE ARE IN DANGER, YOUR PREGNANT", he yells out. Aiden tilts his head, "No wonder your gaining weight!", he says. I look at him, "Really?", I ask. Aiden shrugs his shoulders, "What? You never wanted kids! I thought you would stick to that!", he says. I sigh, "I'm not weak Daniel just because I'm carrying our child! You act like I can't do anything!", I say annoyed. Daniel sighs, "Because you can't, you're going to kill this baby I just know it!", he says madly. I stay silent, the hormones getting to me, "Ems I'm sorry I-", he says before I cut him off, "NO, YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND!", I say madly. Daniel sighs, "I do it's just what Daniel? Do you think I'm going to kill this baby? Thank you for telling me that!", I say, tears coming down my cheeks. Daniel tries to hug me but I push him away, "No! Now you're trying to cover it up! If you think that, I guess I'm not a good mother huh?", I ask madly. Daniel shakes his head, "No, I'm sorry I'm just scared for our child's life", he says softly. I shake my head, "You gotta watch what you say!", I say. Aiden sighs, "Daniel, that was stupid on your part! You know she has hormones and she is trying to be a good mother! She knows what she's doing", he says. Daniel glares at Aiden, "Your not part of this family, your not this woman's husband, your not the father to this unborn baby so you don't get to say your opinion!", he says madly. I go up to Daniel, "He's trying to help us, he's a friend", I say annoyed. Daniel pushes me, making me stumble a bit, "STOP JUST STOP", he yells. Aiden and I stay silent, "WE DON'T NEED MORE PEOPLE TO COME TO TELL US THAT OUR LIVES ARE IN DANGER! WE KNOW THAT!", he yells turning towards Aiden. I sigh, "He needs to help us anyway, he's good at that!", I say softly. Daniel sighs madly, "If he turns on us, your to blame for this!", he says madly as he heads upstairs. I sigh, my stomach hurting, "Emily, I'm so sorry he's like that!", says Aiden softly. I nod, "He's just scared and frustrated!", I say softly. Aiden nods, "I understand that!", he says softly. I nod, "So, what can we do?", I ask softly. Aiden sighs, "I don't know but, what I can tell is that Victoria is determined now if she sent me, she is determined!", he says scared. I nod, "Well, she tracked us when we moved away from the beach house!", I say softly. Aiden sighs, "Well, Victoria is on to you! Keep ears and eyes open!", he says. I hug him, "Thank you for coming here and telling us this!", I say softly. Aiden hugs me back, "Anytime!", he says. Aiden then looks at his watch, "I gotta head out, Victoria will suspect something is going on!", he says as he walks out the door. I nod, seeing him leave, "You still love him?",  I hear Danie ask. I turn around to see Daniel at the bottom of the stairs, "No, why would you think that? If I loved him, this would be his child!", I say annoyed. Daniel sighs, "Well, we weren't even trying anyway!", he says softly. I sigh, "You don't think this child is yours?", I ask. Daniel sighs again, "I feel like it isn't", he says. Anger builds up in me, "YOU THINK I WOULD CHEAT ON YOU?", I ask him madly. Daniel glares at me, "Your a good liar and your always sneaky with things so yeah, I have a reason to be suspicious", he says annoyed. I sigh, "I'm going to sleep on the couch, I can't believe you right now!", I say madly as I run past Daniel, running up to our room. I get the blankets out of the box in the corner and my pillow, walking past Daniel to see him stop me, "I'm sorry!", he says softly. I shake my head, "Now your sorry, trying to cover up with me, nice", I say annoyed as I push past him, heading towards the couch. I lay out my blankets, setting a bedform on the couch. I then feel warm hands wrap around my stomach, rubbing it, "She's my little duck!", he says softly. I rip his hands off my stomach, "Stop okay? I can't sleep with you tonight! Just leave me alone!", I say annoyed as I get under the covers, turning my back towards him. I hear Daniel and head back upstairs. I sigh, tears coming down my cheeks, "Stupid hormones!", I say annoyed. I twist and turn, feeling uncomfortable, "UGH!", I say madly, ripping the covers off of me. I then sit up on the couch, reading the "How to be a good parent book". I then get sleepy, putting the book away and laying back on the couch.

11:10 P.M

I wake up, in a bed, not on the couch, "What the hell?", I ask as I sit up. I then head downstairs, looking to see Daniel sleeping on the couch. I sigh, going over to wake him up, "Hey! Go sleep in the bed, I'm fine on the couch!", I say annoyed. Daniel turns around and looks at me, "I knew you needed the bed, so I carried you up there and I took your place!", he says softly. I sigh, grabbing his hand and pulling him, "Come on! Get out of my bed!", I say annoyed. I finally give up, knowing I'm too weak at the moment to pull Daniel, "Come lay with me!", says Daniel tiredly. I sigh, shaking my head, "I can't tolerate you right now, I'm already not getting sleep", I say annoyed. Daniel turns towards me, "You know you'll always be my princess!", he says, smiling at me tiredly. I sigh softly, "Don't no, stop trying to seduce me!", I say madly. Daniel laughs, "I need cuddles!", he says softly. I sigh, "Fine!!", I say as I lay next to him, facing my back towards him. Daniel smiles, stroking the back of my hair, "I've missed how you were before you were pregnant", he says softly. I sigh, "Well you can't change that unless you want an abortion", I say softly. Daniel sighs, "I don't wanna abortion, just saying!", he says softly. I sigh, "Seems like you do, considering that you thinking this isn't your child", I say softly. Daniel sighs, "Look I'm sorry okay? I want the old Emily back", he says softly. I stay silent, not saying a word, "Emily? You still awake?", I hear Daniel ask. I ignore him, not wanting to talk to him. I then hear Daniel sigh, "I'm very sorry! I'm just scared", he says softly. I ignore him still, "Goodnight Ems", he says. Daniel then lays his arm over me, rubbing my stomach, "Goodnight baby girl!", he says. I take his hand off my stomach, "Please don't touch me!", I say softly. Daniel sighs, "Okay! Goodnight Ems", he says as he turns his back towards me. I sigh, knowing I'm going too hard on Daniel. I then fall asleep.

Next Day

"Ems wake up, please", I hear Daniel say softly. I open my eyes, "What?", I ask, putting my face into the pillow. Daniel shakes me again, "Someone is here to see you", he says. I sit up, rubbing my eyes to see Aiden looking at me, "What are you doing here?", I ask tiredly. Aiden sighs, "Victoria is out to kill you and me! Specifically you and the baby", he says softly. I look at him, "You think I don't know that? I know this Aiden but you? Why would she wanna kill you?", I ask. Aiden sighs, "Well, I told her I wouldn't work for her and that I'm on your side!", he says softly. I sigh, "Aiden, why would you tell her that? You know she is gonna do something about it!", I say annoyed, sighing. Daniel rubs my back, "Ems, it's fine", he says softly. I shake my head, "It's not fine! Now she is gonna know Aiden is at our house and is gonna kill Aiden! I can't let that happen!", I say annoyed. Daniel sighs, "Aiden, you need to go into hiding if my mother finds out your here, she is gonna know your spilling plans to us about her next attack", he says scared. Aiden nods, "Okay! Emily, it's okay! I'll be back after all of this is over!", he says as he heads out the door, closing the door behind him. I sigh, "Ems, do you have any plans or something like that? My mother is gonna be here any moment", he says softly. I sigh, "Yeah, hide in the bathroom and lock it! She can't get in and she won't know where we are!", I say scared. Daniel sighs, "But our cars are in the driveway, she'll know we are home! We also need to get rid of our phones! If she finds out we are in the bathroom, she is gonna know!", he says. I nod, "Right! Let's make a plan!", I say softly. Daniel nods, "Let's do it!", he says determinedly.
