And then he smiled, that's what I'm after,

A smile in his eyes,

The sound of his laughter,

Happy to listen,

Happy to play,

Happily watching him drift away,

He was gone. His best friend was gone. Bucky was distraught. Sam was the only one left he could have.

You keep on turning pages for people who don't care,

People who don't care about you,

And it sill takes you ages to see that no ones there,

See that no ones there,

See that no ones there,

Everyone without you,

Sam rushes into his room at night to comfort Bucky from a nightmare every night. Bucky would explain it. The reasons would be: Steve, Hydra, Dying, and Sam leaving him.

Sam would tell him that it's okay, and that he's here. Bucky still remembers that time Steve left him.
