Bird box part 3 (Avengers)

Everyone got inside the house. A man looked at Stephen. "She went to help you. Now she's gone." He said. Stephen was tearing up. "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry.." he said. Everyone was freaking out. Trying to call their residents.
"Is anyone getting service here?"
"You don't have any WiFi?"
"I haven't got any."
Stephen kept trying to call Wong but it would put a busy tone.
"My children are out there!" A woman said
"You won't make it to your children!" Thor said.
The parents didn't answer and rushed outside.
Stephen rubbed his bump in pain.
"It's back on! Turn it up!" Someone said and Turned on the tv.
The news Reported Speaks.
"The President has declared
a state of emergency
and has closed all borders.

The tv started to glitch and now there was no signal.
"What in the shit is happening?!" Someone said.
"It's Endgame man." Peter said.
"I'm sorry, what?" Natasha looked at him.
"The end game. Humanity has been judged,
and we've been found wanting." Peter said.
"Judged by who?" Steve asked.

"They go by different names. You got world religion and mythology. They go by different names. You got world religion and mythology that's full of mentions of demons
or spirit creatures. People who've seen these creatures almost always describe their encounter as this... as with an entity that takes on a form of your worst fears or... your deepest sadness or your greatest loss." Peter explained.
"Sounds like bullshit to me man. Religious talk." Bucky Said.
"It's not bullshit! okay? It's real talk, it's facts! They come in all different forms. You got the Aka Manah, the Varios Daevas from ancient Zoroastrian legend. You've got the Surgat from ancient Christian occult beliefs that made pregnant women/men encounter their unborn children as other creatures such as lobsters or spiders. You've got the Huli-jing from China. You've got the Puca from Celtic mythology. All different names, but the same thing." Peter explained his theory.
"And what's that?" Stephen asked.

"The end of us.." Peter whispered

"Peter, Did you learn all of that working at the
supermarket?" Steve asked.

"No I've been studying it for years." Peter explained.
"In college....?" Steve asked.
"Not college per se, but... I mean the Internet. That's where you get all your information from. I'm working on a novel." Peter said.
"Fuck sake.." Bucky groaned
Stephen was in a bit of pain and Tony went to him.

"Why don't we sit back down?" He told him.
"No, no I'm fine.." Stephen said.
"I'm--I'm just trying to make a call..." he said.
"Understood.." Tony said.
"I'm okay." Stephen said.
"The phones aren't working right now.." Tony said to him. Stephen nodded softly. "Okay, Okay.." he said.
"Listen, are you in any pain?" Tony asked him.
"What? No. No." Stephen answered.
"I feel like you may have a concussion." Tony said.
Stephen shook his head. "I'm fine. I'm fine.." he said.
"Okay, Okay.." Tony said.
"I'm fine.." Stephen said again.
"We were just driving.
And then he saw something.
I didn't see what it was,
but then she got this look on her face.
It's like she got--
He got so sad, and Mordo does not get sad. No. He stepped out of the car and ran into the street... and he's not suicidal. He would never do that. But it was...
And then that woman-- that woman, she saw me, and then she started talking to her mom and I..."
Stephen said
"That woman was my girlfriend." Thor said to Stephen

Stephen looked at him.
"Her Name was Jane." He said.
"Okay.." Stephen said.
"And she wasn't talking to her mother. Her mother was dead for ten years." Thor  Spat

On the River, Stephen was speaking on the radio. "Hello?
Hello, can anybody hear me? Hello?
Hello? Can anybody hear me? Hello.
Is anybody out there?
Hello, my name is Stephen.
I'm on the river. Is anybody out there?
Hello? Hello? Is anybody out there?
Can anybody hear me? Hello?" He said. No answer. He sighed softly and gave up.

At the house. "It's been three days
since these, um, events unfolded.
Station's lines are down.
I can't get in touch with anyone.
We haven't heard anything
from any authorities...
but if you are listening,
from what I can gather,
as long as you stay indoors,
as long as you don't look
at those things...
you should be fine.
Do not go outside.
The moment I receive any more news,
I will be sure to update you." Someone said.

"Hey, how long's food gonna last?" Tony asked.
Thor looked in the cabinets. "Not much longer.." he said. "Because some of us don't understand the concept of rationing." Thor said.
"Thor, your house is behind this one.
When we finish this,
let's go for a food run."
Stephen said.
"We'd never make it back.
What you don't understand is--
Thor was cut off by something coming from the door.
People went to the door. Tony was first at the door. Holding onto the door handle.
"Hey, Tony.." Thor speaks.
"We can't let anyone in." He said.
"Okay, just calm down.." Tony said to the door not listening to Thor.
"Hello?" He said.
"Yes, hello.." someone from the door said.
"Your making a mistake." Thor said.
"Thor." Tony said giving him a sign to 'Shut the fuck up'

"Yes hello." Tony said.
"Hello?" It sounded like a woman and she's probably emotional and in pain.
"My name is Wanda and I need help..please.." she begged.
"Don't open the goddamn--
Tony cuts him off.
"I'm gonna open the door." Tony said. Stephen got scared but kept his resting Bitch face and grabbed a shotgun and pointed it at the door.

"Fuck!" Tony said and then calmed down. "Go get a--
Go get a blanket. Go get a blanket. There should be two lamps on either side of the door." He said. Natasha quickly went to grab a blanket while Stephen still had the gun pointed at the door.

Natasha returned and gave Tony the blanket. "I'm gonna hand you a blanket and I want you to drape it across both of them, okay?" He said to the woman that was outside the door.

"Okay." The woman said.
"I need you to block the view for me." Wanda said.
"Cover your eyes." Tony told the others.
"So stupid.." Thor mumbled and they covered their eyes but Stephen didn't.
"Stephen, cover your eyes." Tony said. Stephen cooperated and closed his eyes still holding onto the shotgun.
"Here. Here okay.." he said giving the blanket to Wanda.
"Tony? Is it safe?" Steve asked.
"Shut up." Thor said.
"Hold on please!" Tony shouted.
"Okay, it's all covered." He said.
"Okay..I got you come on." He said and lead the girl inside and closed the door. Everyone opened their eyes.
"We're good." He said. Stephen still pointed his gun at Wanda.
"Stephen, gun please." Tony said and motioned him to low the gun.
"Yeah.." Stephen said and lowered the shotgun.
"Yeah before you kill someone with it, since you have no idea how it works." Thor said.
Stephen reloaded the gun many times leaving bullets out
glaring at him, leaving Thor in quite a shock.

"How...there are so many of you.." Wanda said.
"Um..are you..pregnant?" Peter questioned her.
Wanda nodded. "Yeah, October 1st.." She responded and noticed Stephen.
"What about you?" She asked him.
"Uh, end of uh..September.." He replied.
"Wait, hold on. Is shit going crazy out there or what?" Thor asked.

"Are you on your own?" Tony asked her as well.
She nodded. "My brother was deployed last month 'cause he's in the Air Force.
I tried to make stuff last as long as I could, um...but I was so hungry and I was afraid I would starve my baby, so I didn't know what to do." Wanda Informed.
"Have some water.." Natasha said and gave her the water.
"Thank you.." Wanda said nicely and drank the water.
"So, you left and started knocking on random doors?" Tony asked.
"I only live a block away.." Wanda responded.
"Great, now we can all starve here in the maternity war." Bucky complained.
"It just means that we need to get more supplies." Stephen said.
"Of course, but we can't get anything if we can't see." Bucky said to him.
"Oh we are fucking trapped." Thor sighed.
"Maybe not." Bruce jumped in.
Everyone looked at him.
"Maybe, we can see better that we thought." He informed.
"What do you mean?" Steve asked.
"Come here." Bruce said and lead them upstairs.
