"Captain, but what if ..?" Eren said hesistantly, his voice fading as he directed the uncomplete sentence to his Corporal even though neither of them were looking at one another.
"What if what, Jaeger?" Levi grumbled as he cleaned his blades before their mission started. More titans had appeared randomly in Wall Rose, even though Eren had closed the gap with the boulder. Eren, in Levi's special operations squad, was going to help eliminate them once more, and hopefully for good.
"What if ..what if something happens?"
Levi only perked a brow, but kept his gaze on his blades, "Like what?"
Eren shrugged, "Anything can happen, sir. I just .."
Levi seemed vexed now, with Eren continuously stopping and not continuing with his sentences, "You just what, Jaeger? Just. What?" He asked, obviously annoyed.
"I just ..don't want anything to happen." Eren said, now looking away and beginning to walk away as well, seeing he just noticed that Levi didn't want him around currently.
Levi sighed a deep sigh, feeling somewhat guilty as if he had a strong intimidating vibe that affected even Eren, which was surprising. Eren had gotten closer and closer to Levi over the years, so he wasn't shy or scared to tell him 'no' once in a while or argue with him, even set his foot down and make his point when he wanted to. "Do you think you'll die or something?" Levi asked, setting his blades inside his gear and crossing his arms, looking at Eren walking away now, his back to him.
"No... That's not what I think at all." Eren replied, hiding his face now.
