"Oh, sweet Jesus, no! I can't do this! I can't .." Marco whispered as he ran his hands through his hair and looked down at the pancakes in front of him with the most devastated look in his eyes. Tomorrow was the mission, and Marco stll wasn't ready. I perked a brow and siped my milk, staring at Jean. Not even Jean could calm him down, surprisingly.

"Jean ..." I said with a sigh, giving a worried look at Marco, who's head was now down on the table, for he had moved his pancakes away from him.

Jean simply shrugged and wrapped an arm around Marco. "Marco, come on. It'll be fine!"

As Jean was speaking, I too, gave a devastated look at my empty plate.

"What if ..what if one of you gets killed because of me?! I'd never forgive myself! I can't risk that possibility by joining you two in Levi's squad!" Marco shouted out at Jean, glancing at me from time to time.

Marco had caught me in the act of stuffing one of his pancakes in my mouth, but fortunately for me, he was in too much of a panic to care that I was eating his breakfast. Marco didn't exactly care about anything else right now, seeing as his face was dug into Jean's neck as he tightly hugged him.

Jean looked around worried, and when his eyes fell on me eating his lover's food, he scowled. "Eren, really?"

I put up a hand and chewed faster, finally swallowing. "What?" I asked, cocking my head.

Jean simply rolled his eyes and shook his head in a dismissing matter. "Nothing. Now, Marco .." He said helplessly. After a moment, he began to nervously glance towards me.

"Hm? Möchten Sie, dass ich Ihnen helfen?" I asked Jean, softly frowning.

Marco frowned and looked from me to Jean.

"Sorry für ein Arsch die ganze Zeit! Ist das, was Sie hören wollten? Hilf mir!" Jean responded.

"Guuys!" Marco whined, softly pouting, "I don't like it when you guys talk in German, I can't understand anything!"

"Why do you think they talk in German for, Marco?"

All three of our heads spun to look at Hanji, perking a brow as she held a plate of pancakes as well.

"What ..?" Marco asked, looking as confused as ever.

Both Jean and I gave her a look, and she softly snorted.

"Nothin', hun."

With that she walked away as we could hear her giggling to herself.

"Sorry, Marco." Jean simply said as he pecked his forehead, then gave me a quick glance, only causing me to sigh.

"So ..Marco, think of it this way? Why do you think me, Jean, and Levi are on our own seperate squad for special operations?"

Marco immediately perked up like a happy child that knew the answer. "Because you're all amazing fighters and you can handle seperate and difficult missions!"

I nodded and smiled. "Right. So ..." I looked at Jean for a moment to see if he was catching on, and fortunately, he was.

"S-So ..! Why do you think Levi added you?"

With this being said, Marco grew a soft tint of pink on his cheeks and spoke up. "B- ..Because ..I'm an amazing fighter and I could handle seperate and difficult missons ..?"

Both me and Jean gave a smug look to one another and spoke in unison. "Correct!"

This caused Marco to set a hand on his neck sheepishly as he smiled, "W-Wow ..."
