"Damn it Shitty-awa get off my sister!!!"

    'Oh, there he is.'

Aniki tore through the front door, grabbing my other brother by the back of his shirt and threw him off me. One of his large rough hands snagged one of mine and yanked me to my feet...making my poor knee scream in pain.

    "You sure you're okay?"

'You poor brave-stupid- man,' I could all but hear the anger roll off of the taller male holding me.

Hajime's eyes snapped to mine looking me once over before he shifted me off my left knee, most likely seeing I was holding it funky. His eyes then turned toward the youngest male.

"What happened?" it was all but a growl, shaking my head I pushed away from my biological brother.

"Godzilla tripped me when he got too excited...you know like he did two weeks ago."

"You know Ume-kun I could get you a better knee brace, an everyday one so you don't have to worry so much about it." Toru-Nii decided to make himself known in the conversation...but then again he was the one who knew what I went through with my knee.

"That'd be awesome!" I could feel the stars in my eyes as I looked at the alien-lover.

"Yeah, and you could come with me to my physical therapy sessions to help strengthen the muscles so when Zilly decides to take you out you won't hurt them near as much."

"Hajime-Nii how come you never thought of that!!"

"I told you that two weeks ago when you hurt it then!!"

"Maybe it just means she likes me more."

And so the battle began, looking back to the shell-shocked blonde male I could tell it was a lot to take in. Walking over to him, he finally snapped out of his trance and shook his head at me.

"It now makes sense of how you could handle the two of them so well."

Laughing I couldn't help but nod, "Yeah, when you grow up with these two you get good at making a distraction so someone can make a clean getaway."

"Trying to get rid of me," He quirked a brow at me...and was that a pout I see forming on those lips??

"No," I shaking my head I continued on, "But I do know that my brother will fight you for simply talking to me...and Toru seems to set you on edge."

"Well then," he paused looking a little lost.

"I'll see you at school," I smirked at the taller male as he nodded.

The Mad Dog turned and waved making his escape, sighing I glanced at my two dorks who were now wrestling in the doorway.

"Mom!! They're fighting again!!" I hollered through the door hoping said woman would come around the corner with a knife in hand like she normally did when they roughhoused in the house...say that ten times fast.

'Rough housed in the house, ruff housed in house, ruff house in hose-' I gave up on my mental battle and watched as the kindest woman I know come into view with a glare that would make a hardened criminal freeze in their tracks.

"And what are you two up to?" With those words, all movements in the teenagers ceased.

"J-just messing around Ms. Iwaizumi." Toru stuttered.

"Yeah, Mom, just playing," Nii-chan couldn't even look her in the face as he lied.

"That better be all you two," Mom glared harder making the two flinch, "I won't have you two continue to scare off the only friend Umeji has ever brought home."

"He's already gone..." Three heads whipped toward me so fast I feared they'd have whiplash.

"What?! When did he slip away?!?"

"You made sure we'd start fighting didn't you?!?" To-Nii yelled pointing a finger at me.

Scoffing I couldn't help but place a hurt expression on my face, "I would never!! Make my two favorite brothers fight!! Absurd!"

"That's a shame I wanted to meet him," Mom sighed turning back into the kitchen.

Hajime shoved Toru out of the way and gave me a hand so I could hobble my way into the house. My knee was officially done holding my weight and was starting to give out on me, leaning in the hall as I kicked off my shoes I spared a glance back at Toru who was looking intently at my knee.

He knew my pain better than anyone, and he was the one who was always telling me to be more careful about it, Oikawa knew my knees were far worse than his and I think a part of him was afraid that his knee would become like mine...I didn't blame him, volleyball was his life, he used me as the excuse to look into therapy and ways to help prevent more injury.

Waving my hand to get his attention, Toru stepped back into the house giving me a tight embrace making me feel sad. I nozzled closer, 'It hurts', he rubbed my back and pulled me closer, 'I know.' Shaking my head as I pulled away from him, hoping to keep the sad thoughts at bay until I felt like I could handle them....no never.

"Hurry up you two," Aniki snipped with his arms crossed over his chest, "Mom's getting antsy."

"Coming~~~" The three of us quickly made our way to the dining room, where my amazing mother had a spread of delicious food. Giving thanks to said woman we all dug into a meal that was fit for a king.

After dinner Toru ran home, seeing how he told his parents he was gonna be home sooner than he was, Hajime went upstairs leaving Mom and me with the mountain of dishes.

"Your brother told me you have a great plan on how to get this boy to like you," Mom started without looking at me.

"Yeah," I mumbled... I kinda feel bad now, I told my brother my great scheme on how I was going to get this guy I liked instead of going to my mother.

    'You're an asswhole,' I thought to myself...and I wasn't wrong.

I cleared my throat and started again, "Yeah, I wanted him to see me as someone different than I am... You know kinda mysterious and cool," I stopped and thought about how my lovely dog tripped me..yeah so cool.

"Well here's my advice and I'm only going to give it this once cause I know you hate being nagged but... Love, if it does go to that, can't be planned it just happens. Besides, don't you always tell Toru that he needs to be himself if this boy doesn't like the real you...why let him like the fake one?" She paused to let me take it in, "That's my advice and if you want more you know where I am."

"Yeah, either over the stove or nose deep in a book," I snickered dodging the swing she playful threw at me.

She was right but I won't admit that...cause she's my mom and like every teenager, you can't let your parent/s know that they actually know what they are talking about. That night I had some thinking to do...I have put too much work into my plan to not follow it through but I need to start being more me, even if he doesn't like it.

Damn boys that make me have hormones.
