Walking home from school, I hummed happily as I followed Hajime to the convenience store thinking of all the food he was gonna get me as an apology, though he really didn't need to but who was I to say no to free food. All but skipping behind my brother, a cheerful smile set in place, arms swinging at my sides...I probably looked like a crazy person.

    "Keep up, Sis!" snapped Haji-Nii.

I was barely a few feet behind him, "Sorry" I snickered jumping forward to match his pace.

"And why are you so happy?"

"Is it a crime to be happy?"

"For you yes," he smirked ruffling my hair, more like pulling my hair from its ponytail.

"Rude," pushing his hand off my head, "And to answer your question, I get free food who wouldn't be happy."

Shaking his head, we continued toward the store, "You mooch."

Laughing we made it to the junk food section, drooling over all of the chips and chocolate. We both looked at each other with a knowing grin, Hajime went down candy aisle while I went to the hot food. Some Hamima Chicken was calling my name, humming with closed eyes as I headed to the counter...yeah food. There were 3 pieces left, and they all had my name on them. Looking up to the older gentleman behind the counter, I tapped on the glass and held up three fingers.

"All three, huh? You sure you'll be able to eat them all?" the clerk snickered as he started to grab my food.

Laughing, I nodded head, "Sure I am, you should know better than anyone else how much food I can eat!!"

"Your brother paying for them this time."

"Yup, yup" I reached over the counter for the delicious fried chicken.

Taking one out of the small bag he gave me, taking a large bite. I turned back to go find my brother, who most likely had his arms full of junk. Coming around the turn, and sure enough, he had both arms full and he had about three bags of chips in his mouth. Both of our eyes met swallowing my mouth full, I laughed. Arms crossed over my stomach, tears in my eyes laughed.

"Shut up!!" a muffled yell came from Nii-san, only making me laugh harder. I could feel the glare on top of my head, so I tried to calm my laughter. Looking back up at him, I wiped the tears from my eyes giving him a soft smile.

"What do you mean you're out?" a gruff voice came from the counter. Tensing I turned to back the way I came and sure enough, there was the tall 2nd year that I had been avoiding. Glancing back to my brother who had his eyebrow raised in question...only to have his eyes widen with a knowing look. He took a step forward, making me move into his way.

"No," I whispered, making him smirk...which in all honesty was kinda evil looking. "Please no, I'm begging, Bro."

"Fine, but you get to pay today," he whispered back, the chips still muffling his voice. Now it might have been me but my little sister instincts were telling me that something wasn't right. But he's my brother..what the worst that could happen.

"Okay, deal." I reached out taking his food, even the bags from his mouth that were wet. Once all of the food was situated in my arms, I looked up to find my brother gone...No. Whipping my head back and forth in hopes he'd appear back in the aisle. This- this is the worst that could happen.

"Ah, Hajime!" The clerk chuckled from behind me...I'm going to kill him.

"Hello Obi-san, how are you today?"

"Very good, I saw your sister just a second ago said you were gonna pay for all the chicken she got."

"Oi," the voice cut into the conversation. "Your sister."

I felt Nii-san's murder cloud grow, poor Mad Dog was in for it now. "What about my sister?"
There was a tense silence, 'Goddammit Hajime...if you-' my thoughts were cut off. A mischevious smile grew on my lips. 'Let the game begin.'

Shuffling with all of the snacks in my arms, I headed to the counter trying not to drop any of the food. All but dropping the snacks on the counter with a satisfied sigh, glancing over to the two boys that were having a standoff. A pretended shock made my body jump once my eyes locked with the blondes.

"Oh hey," I whispered, as I moved to gently pull on Hajime's sleeve. Making him look down at me, the silent conversation immediately took place.

'You will pay.' my eyes squinted ever so slightly.

'Bring it shortie.' he challenged back.

"What's your name?" Kentaru asked snapping us out of our conversation.

"Oh, I'm-" I went to answer, only to be cut off by Hajime.

    "None of your business."

    "Nii-san!" I scolded half-heartily.

"Come on dork, pay for our snacks so we can get home."

Looking down at my feet as I swayed back and forth, "Well I don't have any money on me..." I sneaked a glance up at my brother with a mischevious glint in my eye that only he would get.

"You little..." he growled looking ready to strangle me.

"I'll pay for you if you give me your chicken." My head snapped toward the Mad Dog, a genuinely shocked look crossed my face.

"Sure," I chirped digging out the two pieces of chicken from the bottom of the pile on the counter. "Here you go."

He walked toward me, making me tilt my head up to look at him in the eyes. Kyotani took the chicken and then stood in front of the counter as he fished out his wallet. Watching as he dug in his back-pocket, tilting my head to the side as I stared at his ass. It was hard to tell with his baggy pants but it was good none the less...what I'm a teenager, I'm allowed to look. But as always, my fun was cut short with a smack to the back of my head.

"Ow, Haji-nii what was that for?!" I whined holding the back of my head.

"Don't think I didn't see that." He growled quietly to me. Sighing I looked back to Kentaru, who had an eyebrow raised in confusion.

Dropping in a bow, "Thank you for paying for me." I looked up from my bow to see him with a small blush on his face.

"Yeah, whatever." he looked away trying to keep his tough act up. Straightening, I gently took the three bags full of snacks from his hands softly. Making sure to brush my fingers against his, I watched as his eyes widened a fraction at the soft gesture.

Once the bags were in my hands, I took a step back to be at my brother's side again. Looking up at said person, I nudged his side and motioned to the male in front of us.

"Yeah, thanks." He ground out, glaring at the poor boy who had both nothing wrong...well besides starting a sentence with 'Your sister,' which is a big nono in Big Bro's Book, cause you know that would mean you were going say something that he probably wasn't going to like.

Looking down at me, Hajime nodded his head toward the door, "We should get going before Mom sends the cavalry." Nodding, I waved goodbye to the taller male as we headed onto the street.
