The Chemical Factory (The Ooze fan fic)

Chapter 4

The image Chloe she pictured came true, the Ooze look down at her through his red glowing eyes. The look on his face made Chloe feel scared like a child seeing a monster in the closet. The jaw wide open a little making the green slime drooling out of it and the facial expression made him look scarier. While looking at him with wide eyes, Chloe try to move back slowly, but the Ooze starting to move forward which cause Chloe to run fast quickly. He chase after her around the Waste Plant, it like running away from a serial killer in a horror movie. Chloe turn her head if the toxic waste monster is still chasing her but suddenly, she tripped and fell on the ground, she tried getting up but the Ooze grab her bag, and pulling it towards to him. She let go of her bag and leaving it to that monster. She stood up quickly and ran off to find an escape.

The Ooze let out a grunt but looking at her bag, the bag has a University of Oregon logo on the front pocket, he then realize that she remembers her from that school. He also remembered that 4 months ago, there were so many college students protesting outside the factory and that girl was part it, they were chanting about the toxic chemicals affecting the campus with poisonous gas. He tried explaining to but the Director stop him and called the police, Dr. Caine saw them getting arrested and putting some of them into the back of each police cars. He felt guilty about it what happen and he should of help them fix the problem but his boss wouldn't about it. But it was months ago so now, he has to stop the Director's plan before it's too late. The Director's plan is to poison the water supplies and sell the antidotes to make 1 billions of dollars. 

Looking around to find that student, he spotted her trying to climb up through the air vent, his shout cause her to loose grip up there. He used his oozy arm to reach for her leg but she already made it in, Dr. Caine can't stretch up because he doesn't have that ability in his ooze body. But, he can hear moving through the air vent, the vents lead to the Genetics Lab where he was injected by my boss and flushed down in the toilet. Dr. Caine can't forget about that memory but he needs to focus on listening to her movement, he can hear her moving straight inside the vents.
Dr. Caine: 'If she can go to the Genetics Lab, she can stop the Director and expose his plan to the police. It's full proof.' He thought that if its work, she can also cure him from his disgusting slime body.
His moments was cut short when these large eyes appearing in the toxic chemicals and start shootings these electrical balls from the pupils. Dr. Caine dodge their attack without hitting its head, that's his weak spot and it can kill him.

When Chloe is close to the next room, she saw the ooze monster fighting those giant eyes by spitting with it's ooze. It was really distributing for Chloe to see those mutated creatures moving around in the plant, why can't the workers deal about instead of chasing after that ooze monster. When this is over, Chloe is gonna take a long shower at her dorm because she is cover in sweat and cover in dirt from the Toxic Dump. After the fight, she saw that monster defeated those eyeballs, he turns around to see green eyes through the vent.
Dr. Caine: 'It's her.'
This made Chloe shock that it saw her, she started moving and made it to the Genetics Lab. Chloe jump out of the vents and landed on the ground, she groan in pain from the fall but she's ok, no scratch on her leg. She took off her gas mask to breathe in the air if the air is safe, when she did, it's safe. She walked around the lab and avoiding the holes on the ground without falling in there.
Chloe: "What kind of twisted plant is that?! Mutated creatures crawling around this place and that...ooze monster looking for me!" She shouted to herself in frustration because she is sick and tired of this sh*t and wants to end this whole insanity by getting the antidote and saving her friends at the University, Chloe finally calm herself down and continues to find the antidote. She search for the antidote everywhere until she spotted two more employees walking by but they spotted her.
Employee 3: "Hold it!"
Employee 5: "Stop right there!!"

Chloe ran as fast as she could to get away as far from them, she ran to the left path where she found a place to hide in, she opens the door to get in and close it quickly. She then kneel down  so they can't see her through the door and stays quiet. As they left, Chloe stands up to find out where she is right now, she turns on the light to reveal that she's in someone's laboratory. The laboratory is a complete mess like a robber breaking in random people's homes, there are papers scattered everywhere on the floor, the glass tubes, bottles, and beakers are shattered into pieces, the computer is smashed, and the boxes and books are shredded.
Chloe: "What happen here?" She investigates the destroyed lab and found something under the desk, she picks it up and it's a old leather notebook. The book has someone's name on it, looking at it closely, it's labeled "Daniel Caine".
Chloe: "Daniel Caine?"

She open the book to reveals interesting notes, and chemistry formula in each page. Flipping through the whole page, she stop to page where he created the virus. She read every note that the virus can affect animals and turning them into mutated monsters, that part terrified her when she learned Dr. Caine created the toxic chemical and been using it to experiment on animals. The shocking expression on Chloe's face made her look sick and she almost fainted at the end of his notes.
Chloe: "No....no stay awake Chloe, don't let that thing find you. You need to find that antidote and get the hell out of there." She said to herself and think where the antidote can be.

Chloe left the lab and look both way if no workers, robots, or those mutated creatures are walking by. When the close is clear, she ran to find an exit out of the laboratory. A swarm of green bugs flies around the laboratory, Chloe shoos them away but they kept flying around her, she is not a fan of bugs because bugs are disgusting insects even since when she was a kid. She characteristics of the swarm of bugs look terrified, maybe Dr. Caine did an experiment on those insects. While looking for an exit, Chloe is starting to feel sick into her stomach, the pain ache inside causing her to squeeze her abdomen tightly and try not to puke that is coming up to her throat.

Chloe clench her stomach but the pain still aches so much, she groan quietly trying not to draw anyone's attention to her. The vomit is rising up to her throat and she can't hold it inside, she looked around to find a toilet or a trash can throw up in. There is a toilet right over there so she ran quickly and kneel down to puke out the vomit in there. As the pain in her stomach disappears, Chloe lead against the wall to catch her breath from the large amount of vomit she puked out, her body felt sluggish to get up and her legs ached from running around the enormous plant about five to six hours. She wipe the drool off of her mouth with the sleeve of her sweater but it wasn't drool, it was blood.

Chloe: "W-What?!" Chloe was shock to see the blood on the sleeve, she check the toilet to see some of her blood mixed with the vomit. This made her eye and thought to herself why is she puking out small amount of blood and this made her realize that the toxic fumes affected her when the truck crash at her school. Her head started to feel dizzy and her vision looks blurry, the headaches, and the pain is kicking in. She tried standing up slowly but her legs are feeling wobbly and fell back down, the symptoms is affecting her immune systems making her feel weak.

Chloe: "No, I..gotta fight it! I can't fail them." Chloe said, she stand up with all of her strength. She held on something that can help her stand up with both of her legs and she finally succeeded without falling back down, her vision is getting blurry but she is still able to see. When Chloe is about to take off, the toilet started rumbling like crazy, stepping closer to take a closer look and she saw green ooze coming out from the hole of the toilet.

Chloe: "Oh no." Chloe said in a terrified tone. It's him, it's back, The Ooze.
