The Chemical Factory (The Ooze fan fic)

Chapter 6

Chloe lock the door and turn on the light switch to see her surroundings. She's inside the security room, the room is pretty small, there are many video monitors hanging the walls and the screen shows every room in the plant and outside the toxic waste dump. She then rewinds some of the film until one video caught her eye. It was Dr. Caine on the computer in his lab.
Chloe: "What is he doing?" she said to herself as she examines the film.

In the video, Dr. Caine found a file on the computer which is labeled; Operation: OMEGA. He open the file and found documents of the virus he created. As he reads through it, he discovered that the Corporation is planning to release a deadly virus into the water supplies and poison many innocent people, and make millions of dollars for the antidote. With the plan still in progress, Dr. Caine tried to call the police about it but he was stopped by his boss and two of the employees walked in the laboratory. They held Dr. Caine so he won't escaped, the Director injected him with the toxic ooze into his veins, and flushed him down in the toilet when his whole body was turned into green ooze. The video ended leaving Chloe in shock.

Chloe: "Dr. Caine...he was trying to stop them. But wait, that thing out there, is that...Dr. Caine?" She questioned herself. She remembers that in the video, Dr. Caine's whole body was turning into after his boss injected him with the toxic ooze.
Chloe: "I always thought that monster was one of the failed experiments in the lab, but it was actually him. Dr. Daniel Caine." She felt guilty that she didn't know because she ran away from him a lot.
Dr. Caine climbed out of the air vent and landing on the floor. He saw her looking for the tape on a desk. He move slowly behind her and his shadow loomed over Chloe's whole body. Chloe turned around and face with Dr. Caine.
Chloe: "D-Dr. Caine, i-is that really you?"
Dr. Caine: "Yes, it's me Chloe. Thank you for not freaking out."
Chloe is speechless and reply back to him.
Chloe: "I saw what happen to you. You were trying to stop them but they turned you into a monster and flushed you down out of the plant."
Dr. Caine: "I know but listen, I need the tape so I can take to the police station and explain to them about their plan."
Chloe: "I heard but I need to get the antidote first and bring it to my school. The truck crashed into the campus exposing large amount of toxic chemicals. It affected so many students and professors there."
Dr. Caine: "What?!"
Chloe: "Without it, they'll die including me. I got exposed by the gas and I have hours left before I drop dead." She said in a worried and sick voice.
Dr. Caine: "I'll help you and your friends. I was responsible for creating the virus in the first place, please forgive me." He said in a apologetic voice.
Chloe: "Of course." She was cut short when the virus is attacking her immune systems. She kneels down on the floor and let out a harsh cough out which made her drool a little bit of blood. This made Dr. Caine shock.
Dr. Caine: "Chloe!" He was about to help her up but touching her skin might burn her from his oozy body. She got up slowly and spit out blood.
Chloe: "I'm fine...Dr. Caine. It's just a cough."
Dr. Caine: "It's not. You're getting worst look at yourself, your skin is turning pale. You need to stay here and wait. I have some business to take care of."
Chloe: "What? No! If your boss see you here, he will terminate you."
Dr. Caine: "Well I can't let him win! He'll get away with it and put me away like a caged animal! And he will put you in prison for trespassing his property! Am I clear Chloe?!" He shout at her in anger making her flinch in that kind of tone. Chloe took a deep breath and try to hold in the tears.
Chloe: "Yeah...I understand."
Dr. Caine sigh and reply back.
Dr. Caine: "Good, before I leave I need you to record that tape and put it in your bag." Dr. Caine said and pulled her bag out of his oozy body.
Chloe: "My bag."
Dr. Caine: "You dropped it when I first met you at the Waste Plant." He handed her bag back.
Chloe thanked him.
Dr. Caine: "Now hurry, I can't let them see me here."
Chloe: "But wait, where do I meet you?"
Dr. Caine: "Meet me at the Plague Factory, that's where we can destroy the generators their working on." He said and went back in the air vent.

Chloe then focus on finding that film through the computer monitors. Her eyes scan on every screen while rewinding each tape. She found it on the forth row and record the whole thing in a VHS video player. The VHS tape is pulled out of the player after recording the film. She grabbed the tape and put it inside her bag.
Chloe: 'I hope he's going to be ok. Those bastards will do horrible experiments on him or worst, kill him.' She thought to herself.
Chloe open the door to walk out of the security room, a group of employees stepped in the room and the two scientists grab both of her arms so she won't escape.
Employee 1: "We got her boss!" He contact his boss through
Chloe: "What the hell?! Let go of me!"
Employee 1: "Shut it! The boss really wants to see you, Ms. Starr."
Chloe: "Wait what?!" Chloe said.
She was about to say something but one of the employees knock her out on the head with the back of his laser gun. All she could remember is being dragged away by the scientists.
