The Chemical Factory (The Ooze fan fic)

Chapter 8

Chloe and Dr. Caine ran quick to the next room but was cut short when she starts kneeling on the floor. She clench her stomach tight from the pain hitting inside her testiness. She starts coughing out a little bit of blood as her throat is turning dry. Dr. Caine is seeing this and it made him completely shock.

Dr. Caine: "Chloe! What's wrong?!"
Chloe: "I'm loosing amount of blood..I have 5 hours left. You go."
Dr. Caine: "I can't leave you here!"
Chloe: "Just go Daniel! My body doesn't have the strength to get up! I'll be fine!" She shouted.
Dr. Caine is stun at her tone so he then move to the next room leaving Chloe behind.

Chloe sits down on the ground and she leans her back on the wall. Her body is showing veins a little from the virus and her eyes are turning light red. She's having a hard time breathing with her throat being dry. There's no water for her to drink, only toxic goo oozing out of the drainage on the wall. Tears are dripping down her cheeks from the pain she's suffering. She cough some more until her head is feeling dizzy. Her head starts spinning around in circles and her vision is getting blurry. She place her hand on her forehead from having another headache. The pain is swelling a little but the amount of blood she's loosing is making her feel weak. If she dies, she fail her friends, her professors, her family, and Dr. Caine. More tears are pouring down her cheeks as she starts sobbing hard of her.

Time skip about 1 hour later

Chloe got up from the ground as she tries to find Dr. Caine in the Plague Factory. She tried shouting his name but her throat wouldn't allow her to speak due to the vocal cord being dry like sandpaper. She grip the wall to keep her in balance while walking around in the factory. The door open revealing two or more employees stepping in to the next room. Chloe hide behind the wall so they won't see her here. She then took a peek that the door has a security lock on it and it needs a keycard to unlock it. Digging through her bag, she took out Dr. Caine's ID card and scan it on the monitor. When it analyzing the keycard, the light turn green and the lock on the door unlocks automatically. Chloe open the door, and find herself in the next room of the Plague Factory. She put the keycard back in her bag.

Chloe: 'Dr. Caine should be here right now. He can't be that far.' Chloe thought.

She walk on the platform bridge and look down for any sign of Dr. Caine. There's these automatic vacuum machine driving by and cleaning up the trail of green ooze.
Chloe: 'He's close.' She follow the trail of green ooze but it lead her to a dead end.

Chloe: 'He must have went down in the drain. But where?' She walk upstairs to get a better view as she spotted more green ooze on the other side. As she jumped down, she stepped on the ooze but a hand grabbed her by the ankle and reacted in a jump of fright. The employee crawl close to her with only his arms but the bottom part of his missing, it was melted off when the Ooze ate the lower region of the body. Chloe is very disgusted of this disturbing and gory scene, and she is trying to puke again in front of him.

Employee 1: "H-Help me! H-H-He's here! He's here to kill the boss! Please help us!!" He begged for mercy.
Chloe: "Gross, get the hell away from me!" Chloe decline his request. She let go of his hand by kicking him in the face and left him to die. After when she left the assh*le employee to rot, she continues to look for Dr. Caine.

Everything was cut short when she heard an explosion in the far distance of the Plague Factory.

Chloe: 'It must be him.' She thought and heard shouting from Dr. Caine and the Director.
Chloe: 'I gotta help him.' She ran quickly but tripped on a crack floor. She groan in pain from the impact but can't get up because her ankle sprained from three fall.

She crawl on the ground without standing up, the pain is swelling bad in her ankle. Her health is getting worst and it counting down to 5 hours. Her vision is getting blurry from the disease and her head is feeling dizzy. It hurts so much, she doesn't have the strength to get up. Chloe try getting up but her whole body limp to the ground and she faint from exhaustion. When she closed her eyes, the last thing is she saw a male figure running up to her cover in green ooze calling her name.

5 minutes ago

Dr. Caine defeated The Director with a final punch. He tried crawling away but was grabbed by Dr. Caine, he look at him with anger in his eyes.

Dr. Caine: "If you ever hurt that girl again, I will drain you down to the toilet!" He shouted at him and knock him out with another punch. Dr. Caine then went down the drain and travel to the other room of the Plague Factory. His body is starting to change, after collecting all of the DNA Helixs he starts transforming back to his human form. His whole body is muscular, his abs and chest are well built, even his thighs and muscles are buff. After the transformation, he look himself through the shattered mirror. He is happy and almost cry of joy. Taking down the Director and Operation: OMEGA was a complete success, he even destroyed the machine as well.

He remembered that Chloe is still in the Plague Factory, he panicked and ran through his lab to grab the antidotes. He unlocked the passcode and open the door taking out more and more antidotes for her and her friends.

Dr. Caine: "CHLOE!!" He shouted loudly. He ran in everywhere and he spotted her, laying on the ground unconscious.

Dr. Caine: "Chloe! Oh my god!" He ran up to her and check her pulse. He can feel her pulse beating revealing that she's still alive. He quickly pick her up bridal style and put the antidotes in her bag.

Dr. Caine: "Don't worry Chloe, I'll save you and your friends." As he ran out of the LHCC Corporation, he put Chloe in the passenger seat of the truck and drove to the University.
