I looked around the room drearly my eyes carefully searching the floor. I felt a slight stir on my side. I looked down to see a hand that was attached to Jarred. Who was pressed up against my back bare chested with his arm around my waist. At some point I guess he climbed in bed because he was on the floor last time I saw him.

I could feel his rigid stomach moving in and out as he breathes making his abdomen move on my back. My stomach tightened. Maybe he just sleep walks I thought to myself.

I slowly moved the hand that was resting on my side careful not to wake him from his slumber. Rolling from his hold I placed a pillow in my place. He seemed more adjust to the pillow whereas he tightened his arm around it. This would be a moment to go in the photo album downstairs. I took my phone out and snapped a picture of him.

He looked adorable; his matted red hair, light spread of freckles and his scrunched up nose. My heart stopped when I heard the alarm on my phone make cock-a-doodle-do noise. I quickly hit dismiss letting out a a breathe of relief.

"Hannah?" He looked at me with groggley eyes. The hazel of them stood out in the room.

"Hey buddy?" Cautious and not knowing what to say this was my answer. What was I suppose to say; Hey Jarred I was watching you in your sleep until my rooster woke you. That would make me like the ultimate stalker.

" Why do you have an alarm on Saturday?" He asked massaging his temples with his thump and index finger. Somebody's cranky. Poor baby, but since he's up he'll be helping today. " So 'we' can make breakfast." I said with a big smile. He immediately fell face first into the pillow pulling the covers over his head. "Hey come on it'll be fun!" I said pulling him to his feet and leading him towards the door.

Okay we need eggs, bacon, and pancake mix. I searched the kitchen getting the needed supplies and etc out the pantry and refrigerator. I  mixed the pancake mix with water and chocolate chips to add my own touch. I poured the mixture into the pancake iron and set its timer for twenty seconds until flip. During that I made the bacon. Nearly burning my hand as it sizzled and popped.

In no-time everything was done all that is left to do are the eggs. I looked over my shoulder to see Jarred watching intensely as I opened the egg package. " Hey you can help you know." I said to him with a cocky smile. The only thing was I was turned around so he couldn't see it.

He walked over next to where I was standing next to the big bowl. " So what's first?" he asked and I handed him an egg. Whilst he played with it rolling and tossing it in his hands. I watched as he played with it which seemed like an hour. " Are you going to play with that one egg all day." I asked with the most patience which obviously wasn't there. He just gave me a sideways smirk and went into position to crack the egg.

I moved closer to instruct him. " Hit the center of the egg on the side of the bowl and then part it open." He looked at me the smirk still on his face. What was he so happy about your cooking shirtless in green sports shorts.

"No." He said it like he was a defiant child. Did he actually want to keep the egg. "No?" I asked him just to confirm this. His smirk was still there. What is with him and this egg. "I prefer it like this." Pop! I felt the gooey insides of an egg trickle through my hair slowly dripping from the tips.

Did this actually just happen. I looked over to Jarred recovering from my state of shock. He was holding his stomach as if trying to contain it from bursting while it jiggled from his laughs. Turning from him I grabbed an egg making it splatter in his hair. Within minutes eggs were flying everywhere and landing all over us.

We were down to one egg. We remained in eye contact waiting for the moment. I dashed for it with Jarred behind me. Not succeeding in my task I backed up as he aimed his trophy at me.
