He stands there a-guarding,
And for his call waiting,
In the midst of Avalon Lake.He, like a sentinel,
All alone and regal,
Guards the Isle of Avalon Lake.There he shall remain,
The Once-and-Future-King,
Past the shore of Avalon Lake.
