Ruby's POV

Honestly school is so dumb, like I don't want to be here. Who does it's pointless, like my entire school life is me getting bullied.

I finally got to the hell, I mean school and go off my skate board and held it by my side.

It's the only thing I care about and I would kill someone over it, it's also the only thing I NEED to bring since teachers provide like everything. I do pretty well avoiding jocks until.....

Jasper......

Great, just my luck. Jasper smiled down at me "hey runt", I akwardly smiled "hey Jasper, how ya been". I really didn't want to be here "oh I've been good runt, say you got that money", I laughed akwardly "how much was it again". Her smile went wide "only one hundred, which shouldn't be a problem" I sighed in relief which seemed to confuse Jasper.

I reached into my back pocket and pulled out a thousand dollars and held it out to her, she looked shook for a moment but smirked a took it counting through it. She smiled seeing how much she got, she ruffled my hair "good job runt, I'm impressed". I nodded hoping I got out of a beating, but before I could find out a girl walked past getting Jasper's attention. That made her walk away after that girl, I shrugged it off and headed off to class.

Sapphire's POV

I walked down the hall towards class when I saw the cutest girl giving something to....ew Jasper. I looked at the girl a little closer and realized it was the school reject Ruby. I quickly looked away and speed up my pace, until I heard Jasper approaching me. I kept walking until she caught up "hey cutie, where you off to so fast", Jasper has had a crush on me for a long time but I'm not interested "Jasper what do you want" she leaned down close to my ear "you....".

I stepped away from her disgusted "for the last time Jasper, I AM NOT INTERESTED IN YOU". I turned and began to walk away and how just rejected the almighty Jasper infront of everyone, she's never been rejected by anyone because they like her or their to scared to say no. I turned and walked away to class ignoring all the gasps and stares I got.

I sat down and glanced at the person to my right and saw the cutest face, I quickly looked away from her and watched the teacher walk in. "All right class, just talk and get to know each other while I get the assignments ready for tomorrow", I was going to ignore the teacher's statement but then I heard a heavenly sound "u-umm, hi". I looked over at her "hello", she looked down "I'm R-Ruby, b-but you p-probably already know t-that", I smiled at how cute she was "I know, but it was nice to hear it from you".

Her face turned bright red and smiled "what's your name", I smiled at her "Sapphire". Her smile slowly faded "I gotta go" she stood up, but before I could stop her she was gone.
