Ruby's POV

I sat in the room with the main gang members and Sapphire was next to me. I was just zoned out thinking about how much crap is in my life, so annoying. My thoughts where interrupted my an icey hand grabbing my arm "RUBY YOUR SHOT" I looked at my arm "oh yeh, my bad".

She looked like a mental break down, "HOW DO YOU FORGET YOUR SHOT, YOUR LOSING BLOOD" I shrugged "it's fine Sapphy, it doesn't hurt". She actually dragged me to the bathroom so she could patch it up, I didn't mind but to be honest I would have just left it to bleed. She finished cleaning it up and then we walked in to the living room, and sat with the others. We didn't talk about much but we all soon went to bed.

____________Next Day____________

Me and Sapphy got up, got ready, and went downstairs to leave for school. Nexus was already waiting by the door for us, I looked at him "what you have to follow me to school to" he smiled and followed us to the garage "you know it boss".

I laughed and rolled my eyes "just use my name", he laughed lightly "ya okay....... Boss" I looked at him "Nexus, I will fight you" "alright calm down, I'll stop". I took one of my more common cars to school cause I don't want any kind of attenchen.

Nexus sat in the back and Sapphire was in the passenger seat. I got in and drive us to school, the whole drive we talked and laughed, but really I was thinking about Sapphire... Like we have been getting really close lately and at this point I want to know if we are dating, or she at least likes me. Maybe I could ask, but before I knew it we where at school and I had pushed the thought away.

We walked out separate ways, I saw popular out the corner of my eye and I knew they saw me drop Sapphire off. I walked away not making eye contact, Nexus followed behind me with his hands in his pockets. Nexus was normally chill but I swear he was glaring at anyone who even looked at me, I ignored it and kept walking and went to class early.

Sapphire's POV

NOOOOOOO why did they have to see Ruby drop me off, they WILL all questions that I don't want to answer. Maybe I'll get lucky and they'll drop the conversation or won't even ask. I got over there and before I could say hello "why was that loser dropping you off", Emerald asked I shrugged "to far to walk".

I only speak to them in a monotoned voice, I walked away to my locker, thinking about Ruby and if we could date or not. Just then I felt a large hands on my shoulder that turned me around, it was.......ugh Jasper again...."okay listen Sapphire" she looked panicked "Jasper are you alright" she ignored my question "Sapphire look, your in danger" I felt my life just drain from my body at her words "Jasper that's not funny" she shook her head "I'm serious, this girl she knows Ruby, she watched her, she says your taking her away, and to stop you...... She'll kill you".

What no this can't be right "look act like you don't like Ruby..... actually from here on out we are dating, got it" I nodded "thank you for warning me Jasper" I texted Ruby everything. The news really hurts me, I wanted to ask Ruby out after school but now I can't. I thought to myself, I have an idea...

Ruby's POV

When I got those messages from Sapphire my heart sunk, I looked her a lot and I couldn't imagine my life without her. Just then Jasper walked in with Sapphire, they where......Flirting.....It broke my heart, my being, my soul. Sapphire said it was only fake, but felt so real, they kiss, they laugh, everything we did, they did.

Nexus's POV

I looked up from my phone and over at Ruby, then to what she was staring at, she looked away when they kissed. Seeing boss hurt like that made me want to hurt anyone who hurts her, she's only a kid, not even eighteen yet. I glared daggers at the two. I trusted Sapphire and she looks so happy with the only person I ever hear her complain about.

I grabbed Ruby's shoulder "come on bo-Ruby.....Let's get out of here and go to the house" she laughed lightly at me catching my mistake then nodded. We got up and walked out the class to the parking lot so we could leave.
