Why Me

Ruby's POV

I just ran and ran and ran until I couldn't see the classroom anymore. I can't believe it, I was talking to a popular, oh my stars every popular ever is gonna kick my butt. I clutched my skate board as I walked towards the school's exit, then "hey runt" I mentally cursed myself for walking.

Why can't Jasper just let me to away in peace, I turned around to face her "hey Jasper" I said trying to not be scared. Which I'm not, there a lot of things I do in school that aren't really me. She smiles down at me "I saw how Sapphire looks at you", I stood there quietly waiting. "Hey has Jasper look a naked chick" she actually looked, wow she's dumb.

I took the chance and until I got to the exit and skated off, I'm so dead. I got home and heard my garbage dad yelling at my garbage mom about our THEIR garbage house.

I walked in and slipped around them to finish packing my things so I can just move away from them. I plan on leaving to night so they won't stop me.....again, I would just go from school but I'm not leaving my stuff with them and I'm for sure not taking my stuff to school....because it'll get messed up or something. Man I hate life.

Sapphire's POV

She just ran is it because I'm popular and I'm talking to her, I don't know why but I actually felt.....hurt. I've never felt something like that before, am I I love?

No No That's dumb

She's a reject, NO ONE LIKES HER, I DON'T LIKE HER. I just need to calm down and relax, I sigh and continue to do my work and go on with the rest of my day. I began to walk to the dorms, but a purple car pulled up in front of me. The window rolled down reveling Amethyst "Hey bestie" she shouted.

I smiled "I Amethyst" I said in my soft voice, "you wanna ride, heard it's gonna rain", I smiled at her and nodded getting in with her as she drove us to the dorms. "How was school girl", I thought a moment "it was alright, what about you Amy" she laughed "I just messed around all day". We laughed and talked until we pulled up to the dorms. We got out and Amethyst walked me to my dorm, non of the dorms are nice. There all the same some just cleaner than others, or the rooms rearrange. She walked me to my dorm and I waved her bye and went inside.

I placed my stuff by the door, walked over to my mini fridge and pulled out some ice tea and just sat on the couch. The dorms are crummy but it's all I can really afford, my parents kicked me out at sixteen, but I'm eighteen now and they've completely shut me out at this point. I sigh and I look at my dorm, it's full of junk. Like who's latter is that, why is there some boarded up closet, and why is it when I clean up everything looks the same.

----10 AM----

Ruby's POV

I walked upstairs mad, like why am I getting hit because Mom didn't pay the bills and Dad brought some random lady home. Non of that's my fault, I can't control that. I sat on my bed  and listened to my parents yell at each other outside, then that random lady just walked into my room. I looked at her mad, because um knock, I'm in trouble because of her, and who even is she.

She smiled at me and sat on the bed next to me, I just gave her a discussed look, then scoffed at her "what do you want". She was just smiling then whispered in my ear "you", I jumped away from her more disccusted "what is wrong with you". I backed away from her as she stood up "oh nothing honey, your just so pretty", I wasn't scared of her just grossed out.

When she got close enough I shoved her to the ground, grabbed my skateboard and bag and ran out the house. I heard her yelling after me "come back baby girl" I just kept running, why is this MY life. This can't be happening, I'm not even going to be eighteen till next month....I could hear her faint yells as I started to skateboard away "I'LL FIND YOU, I'LL NEVER LEAVE YOU".

I just kept going because jokes on her, my family has absolutely no pictures or any kind of memories of me....

They can't go to the cops because they have no evidence I exist, I wasn't born in a hospital. I was born on the road trip to where my parents live now. Cause jokes on them I'm officially running away. I stopped at a coffee shop and sat inside at a booth,

did she know me when I was younger.

I had so many questions, but I could answer any of them. It started to upset me I couldn't answer a single question, I was clueless like my mom said I was. I hate when my parents are right my hands started to burn the table. Then I felt an icey cold hand touch my shoulder making me jump, I looked at the person the hand belonged to. Then she spoke in her soft quiet voice....
