Sapphire's POV

I sat I class bored to no ends, until Ruby walked in, sadly we where in one of those class periods where I was surrounded by popular. I gave Ruby a small smile and she smiled back basically melting my heart. Then a hand is waved infront of my face, I looked at who the hand belonged too "yes Lapis" she sighed "you weren't listening" I gave an awkard laugh "sorry". They all laughed "we are going to the mall today, you coming", I froze and could feel ice forming around the bottom of my shoes. Me and Ruby where going to the mall after school, this can't be happening. Nothing can be worse  than this right now.

Ruby's POV
Nothing can be worse than this right now, how on Earth did the woman find me. How did she get my phone number, I don't even know my phone number. She really IS crazy, I need to get out of here.

I turned my phone off and flipped it over, what's wrong with her. Should I tell someone the cops, teacher, conciler, I just want to tell someone. I smacked my head on the desk, then something caught my eye. I look out the window I was next to and I swear I the color left my body.

She smiled widely, and that scared me, I'm not easily scared but she is terrifying. She held up a phone and tapped it, I looked at my phone.

I was terrified, my breathing started to pick up. Out of the other corner of my eye I saw Sapphire look at me then pick up her phone.

Ruby are you okay

I wanted to respond but I didn't know what to say, then the bell rang. The popular kids got out first and then I felt an icey hand on my shoulder as I walked through the halls, I looked at the hand the Sapphire "Ruby is something wrong". I thought about telling her then I nodded "well what's wrong", I thought about not telling her, but I realized we have all the same classes and sit together in almost all of them. I sighed "I'll tell you in class", she smiled then nodded.
