New Kid

Sapphire's POV

I woke up to the sun hitting my face and I was going to get up but snuggled closer to the warmth next to me, then my alarm went off. I reached over and tiredly picked up my phone and looked at the time. I jumped up and started to shake Ruby awake "RUBY GET UP WE ARE AN HOUR LATE", She fell out the bed and we quickly got dressed. Ruby ran down stairs and came up with McDonald's, I was about to question it but she beat me to it "the butler downstairs made it".

She gave it to me and we ate on the way to school, Ruby was indeed speeding and swirving through cars and drifting around corners. We arrived at school and sprinted to our second period, lucky for us it was a passing period. So we walked into class playing it off like it was nothing, and sat down next to the window like usual.

She's late, I'm starting to worry that girl she brought home did something to her. Just then they walked in and sat by each other, I over heard the other girls name 'Sapphire'. The teacher came in and I had to introduce myself to the class.

I walked to the front of the classroom,

"Hi my name Trisha Randolph
(Tr-ish-a  Ran-dol-f)
I'm nineteen and I'm so glad to be here", I did a fake smile but they believed it. I quickly looked over everyone in the room and was hurt Ruby was talking to that stupid Sapphire girl and not paying attention to me. I got to sit behind Ruby so that was awesome, but that Sapphire girl has to go.

Sapphire's POV

I looked over and saw Jasper walk in the door, she didn't make eye contact or even look at anyone. Lapis, Peridot, and Pearl followed close behind her, she was carrying something, wait no...

Someone....

Jasper's POV

I drove Me, Lapis, Peridot, Pearl, and Amethyst to school. We brought Amy because she really sick and we can't afford to miss any more school. Peridot volentered to do Amy's work for her, so that's cool. We sat in the back far from everyone, people where staring because me, Lapis, and Pearl are popular and we are sitting with Peridot who's a loser and Amethyst who is popular but hands with the losers. They also don't know me and Amy are related, so me cradling her in my arms is weird to them. She let out a small whimper, she's probably in pain from when that b***h beat her up for messing around in the house.

I gently shushed her and went back to working on whatever, Peridot leaned over to me "maybe the pain killers are whereing off" I nodded "Lapis, pass...please". She smiled and did so, passing the pain killers over to me and I have them to Amy. She ate them slowly and weakly smiled at me "t-th-tha-anks s-s-i-is" I have her a sad smile. I'm her big sister, we are all we have left of our family and I promised our parents I'd protect her, I don't know if they are dead or not but I failed them. I let her get hurt, and I haven't killed the person who did it..... But she'll pay for this in time.

Lapis's POV

I was worried about any and annoyed people kept staring at us, me and some random kid made eye contact. Apparently my
glare worked as the kid turned around facing the board, I was proud that people feared me. It makes me feel good.

Peridot's POV

Okay, class is dumb I'm ahead of my work and now I have nothing to do. All these kids are staring, and they aren't even trying to hide the fact that there staring. They straight up Thursday around to face is, like at least try and hide the fact your staring....no......okay then.

Sapphire's POV

Class ended and I walked up to Lapis, and poked her with my apearantly freezing hands. She jumped slightly and looked at me "oh, hey Sapphire" I smiled at her "hi Lapis, where have you been all week", I could tell she was going to answer but she glanced behind me and quickly dismissed the conversation and ran off. I was going to follow her but maybe she had something personal going on in her life, so I walked back to where me and Ruby hang out. At this point we can very openly be friends, people do still count her as a reject but I don't. She is so much more than that, at least to me she is.

Trisha's POV

Sapphire sat down next to Ruby and Ruby kept laughing with her, she can't do that she's MINE. She shouldn't even be talking to other people or even looking at them. I bet it's that dumb Sapphire corrupting my baby's mind, oh wait till I show her what she's dealing with. Just then Sapphire gently grabbed Ruby's hand as they got up and bed than to leave, after they got one the room I quickly got up from the table of 'friends', if that's what you want to call them, and left the room after them.
