Chapter 9

-So, what now? Have fun?-
One night, Verene was walking around the house and she realize that, this house was lack of furniture.
“What kind of furniture should I buy? Old fashion or new?”
While Verene was thinking, Kakuzu was at the living room, minding his own business as usual. Verene took a glance at him. Verene hasn’t talk to Kakuzu yet so she wanted to discuss with him.
“Hey! You!” Verene point at him.
“What?” Kakuzu let out his low voice at her.
“What do you think of the house?” Verene ask.
“Why do you ask me that question? Go ask someone else.”
“Well, I didn’t see someone else in this room, except you! Just answer my question, old man!!” Verene started to argue with him.
Kakuzu glare at her. “This place is sucks!! In the kitchen, there’s no food, so dusty and old. The curtain all torn out and this house is creepy… and you are a vampire, right? It’s suitable for you, no kidding.”
After that, Verene was getting angry and she scoff. “Selfish old man!”

Meanwhile, Verene walk at the hallway and accidently heard Yerene and Hidan’s conversation.
“Hey, Yerene. Are you feeling any better?”
“Yeah, I’m good… no more dizziness this morning.”
“Oh, that’s good… so uh… what do you want to do now?”
“I feel like I want to kill someone tonight…”
“Really? Me too… I haven’t kill anyone since you’re sick.”
“Okay, let’s go babe…”
Verene quickly run away from their door. Both of them dress casual and go out together.
“Phew… that was close…” Verene sigh. “I still want to buy some furniture in this house… what does the hotel looks like? Maybe I’ll go check it out.”
Verene went to the nearest hotel in the city and go inside.
A lady at the reception ask her. “Check in, miss?”
“Check in? What does that mean?” Verene was an old school girl.
“Do you want a room to sleep?” the lady make it clearly to Verene.
“Can I check room?” Verene asked.
“Yes of course… please follow me…” the lady escort her.
And then, when they were finished Verene decided to check the whole hotel tonight when all of the people goes to sleep.
“Wow, this hotel sure is… luxury~”
“The bathroom looks clean, and the bed too…”
Verene lay down on a bed and she feels so comfy.
“I wonder where this bed sheets and the blankets come from, it’s so comfy. No wonder people go to the hotel.”
Verene get up and walk forward to look at the view.
“What a big city, I wonder where are we now.”
Verene look through the mirror and there was no reflection.
“Stupid mirror… I want to see my face!! but…why?”
Verene has been talking to herself since she come into the room.
“I’m thirsty… shit…”

~The two love-birds~
“Hidan…”
“Yes, Yerene?”
“Do you really think I’m pregnant?”
“W-well… I don’t know… do you want to go to the hospital?”
Yerene didn’t reply but she looks sad.
“I… I hate hospital… I just love you so much.” Yerene hold Hidan’s hand then she squeeze it. It means she truly love Hidan.
“Awe… you could have told me earlier about that.”
“Hospital needs money and I don’t have one, do you?”
“Hmm… Kakuzu got plenty… but he doesn’t want to give me because he is greedy.”
Hidan spots a man walking into the alley.
“I think that man have some…”
“Oh yeah… right.” Yerene bring out her knife while Hidan bring out his weapon and kill that man instantly.
Hidan picks up the man’s wallet and there’s a lot money.
“Here you are…”
“OMG… I fall in love with you again!”
Yerene leap into Hidan’s arms and they are so happy together. Covered in blood but they don’t care.

~The two youngster~
Kiki was at the kitchen. She is trying to make mac and cheese as a dinner tonight.
“Okay… I will put this and this… to the pot… and then… erm…”
Jotu’s stomach was growling and then he saw Kiki.
“And the dinner is served…” Kiki give it a try but still… the food still taste terrible. “I fail again… I can’t do anything in this house! I’m… I’m…”
“Hey Kiki!” Kiki was cut off my Jotu. “What are you cooking?”
“Mac and cheese…”
“Mac and cheese? Can I taste it?”
“No… you can’t… it’s horrible…”
“Let me try… it’s not that bad when I eat it…”
Jotu grab the spoon from Kiki’s hand and give it a try.
“Are you kidding me, Kiki? This is so delicious!!”
“What? It can’t be…”
Jotu eats happily like a little kid, he finish it all. “Another one please?”
“W-wha… erm… didn’t you feel… like a bit raw to you or..?” Kiki asked with curiousness.
“No… it was perfect! I love it!” Jotu said with joy.
Kiki doesn’t understand… she still confuse. “Alright then, one mac and cheese coming right up.”
A few minutes later, Kiki give her mac and cheese to Jotu.
“Thank you, Kiki.”
Kiki was staring at Jotu until he finish it. She still can’t believe it.
“It’s getting more yummy, Kiki. You should be my chef!”
‘Chef only, I was expected more than chef’ Kiki’s thought with dissappointment.
“Oh… it was nothing really… I was just practicing though…”
“Well… keep practicing and then your food will be in the five stars hotel food and I will definitely eat it!!”
Kiki’s heart beating fast when he said that.
“I want to ask you something, Jotu.”
“Hmm…what is it?”
“A-are you… have… sense of smell? Or taste?”
“Hmm? No, why?”
Kiki wanted to punch him right in the face but she couldn’t. She love Jotu… so much…
Instead of punch him, she passed out.

~Back to Verene~
It’s midnight. Verene sense the human in the hotel. All of the humans was fall asleep. “This is my day… I mean… this is it.”
Verene take the window to get out because if she get out from the front door, security guard will find out. Then, Verene do what she have to do, kill people I mean drink their blood.
