Chapter 17

-Normal school for Cannibal?-

The whole week was just the same routine for them. They get used to it and never get to know what happen to their surrounding.
Verene went out one night, she was thinking about getting Jotu and Kiki to school. It will be best for them to gain some knowledge about the world.
“I’m sick of them being sweet each other together, but in their brain, useless junk,” said Verene.
Verene wondered around the town and search for a suitable school for them. Then, Verene have no idea which one she wants so she decided to go ask for a help from Kakuzu.

~A few minutes later~
“Why me?” Kakuzu ask.
“Help me with something! Come on!”
Verene forced Kakuzu to go with her.
“Kakuzu, are you sick of them?” Verene stop and ask him.
“Huh? Who?”
“Your friend and my bestie and those young cannibals, they keep showing how much they love each other every single day.”
“Well, Hidan and Yerene made love and now they have another new member coming up but Jotu and Kiki are still young. I don’t really care.”
“But aren’t you tired of that, Kakuzu? Every day for like FOREVER!!” Verene glared at Kakuzu and then she look away quickly, don’t want to look at Kakuzu’s handsome face.
“So… what are you going to do? And why am I here?” Kakuzu still doesn’t understand why he is involve with this.
“I want you to find a school for Jotu and Kiki.”
Kakuzu just stand there and then took his mobile phone and begin to search there.
‘That was fast,’ Verene thought.

~The next day~
“Wake up, sleepy head!!” Verene smack Jotu’s head.
“Ouch! Big sis? Why do you have to smack me?”
“Where’s Kiki? She’s not in her room!” Verene shouts.
“Erm… eh… I don’t know… maybe she is in the toilet… or some-”
Before Jotu finish his words, Verene pull his blanket and saw Kiki sleeping. Verene smack her head too.
“Big sis! Don’t wake her up!”
“I have to! You both are going to school!”
Jotu stunned for 1 minute, then he shouts “I DON’T WANT TO GO TO SCHOOL!!”
Jotu’s voice wakes Kiki up. “Huh? What’s going on, Jotu?”
Verene shut the door and she tied the youngster up on a chair.
“What!! Big sis!! Untie us!”
“SHUT UP JOTU!! YOU BOTH LISTEN TO ME!!” Verene glared both them deeply in the eyes and then she began to explain. “Don’t you two want to make new friends? Going to school, gaining some experience and knowledge, go to the club and have fun?”
“But, big sis… I don’t want… to go…” Jotu seems depressed while Kiki was curious.
“What is school?” Kiki asked.
“School is a wonderful place for a teenager. You get meet someone new, learn something new and most importantly you can create new memories in school.”
“School sounds fun. Let’s go to school, Jotu!” Kiki shouts happily.
“Kiki, you don’t know how terrified it is, there’s a lot of bullies and I don’t want you to get hurt. I’m scared.”
Verene laugh out loud, and point directly to Jotu.
“Jotu! Did you forget something? You are a cannibal, you can sense bad guys. You can get rid of him with your powers, but seriously don’t eat other kids at school or you will get expelled. Got it? Don’t be such a wuss, be a man!”
Jotu begin to sob and then cry softly. Kiki just giggle at him for being a cry baby.
Verene untie them and Kiki wipe all the tears from Jotu’s cheeks. “Jotu, can we go to school together? Please… I promise I will protect you at school just like you did to me before.” Kiki give him a sweet yet cute smile.
Jotu stared at Kiki’s face then he can’t resist it. “Alright, I will go to school with you.”
“YAYY!!” Kiki squish him tightly.
“Then it settles!” Verene nods happily.
