Chapter 10

-While everyone is out

Kakuzu went out for a walk-

Kakuzu was bored, so he take a walk at the park. He love going outside alone at night, where no one will bother him.

Then, he saw a flickery light in front of him. He look closer, it was a fairy! ‘what?’ Kakuzu thought.

“My... you got an very ugly face, how pitiful.”the little fairy said.

Kakuzu started to get irritated. So, he leave the fairy and ignore it.

“Hey!! Don’t just ignore me! Aren’t you suppose to greet me first? How rude!” said the angry fairy.

“Who cares...”

“Huh!! How dare you!”

Then suddenly, Kakuzu passed out.

A few hours ago, Kakuzu awake. “What... just happen?” ‘What?’ Kakuzu noticed that his voice wasn’t his usual voice. It was a teenage boy voice.

“Hmph!! Why do I have to do that? Why can’t I be a bad fairy instead of good!! This is all the queen’s fault!” The fairy pestering.

“Hey!! What did you do to me? Tell me!!”

The fairy role her eyes and gave Kakuzu a mirror.

“Is… is this my face?”

“Huh… I’m sick of this…” The fairy sighed.

Kakuzu’s face become like a teenage boy face except he has no pimples, his face was pale and fair.

“I can’t believe it! Give me back my real face!!”

“What? Why do you want it back? You already looked great right now.”

“I don’t care!! Just give it back!!”

“Well that was my problem, you see. I can’t turn you back to normal, unless you want a witch to turn you back to your ugly face and being old again.”

“I AM OLD!!” Kakuzu shouts.

“Really? Oh… I didn’t realize… haha…my bad.” The fairy mocking him.

“Huh!! Even my body turn into… ugh… I can’t even think straight…” Kakuzu face palmed and wanted to leave the park immediately.

“Hey! Aren’t you gonna thank me? I just make your face better than before and I’m sure every girl will fall in love with you… Believe me!!”

Kakuzu didn’t even want to hear to what the fairy have to say.

“And my power… is powerful… you know…” The fairy muttered to herself.

Kakuzu didn’t want to go back to the house. He went into a 24 hours convenient store to buy some drinks.

The lady at the counter was attracted to Kakuzu all the time.

“How much is it?” Kakuzu ask.

“Oh… it’s $2.99.”

“Thanks”

Kakuzu go out quickly because he wasn’t feel comfortable in this loosen clothes. “I need to buy some clothes.”

So, Kakuzu went into the city to buy some clothes.

“Why it is so expensive? I want to save my money.”

Kakuzu browse and browse all the clothes in the shop but all of the clothes are expensive. “That’s just not fair.”

But luckily, he saw an old shop and all of the clothes were cheap and still in good condition.

After he brought all of his cheap and not so nice clothes, he puts his clothes at the laundry shop. Of course he wanted the clothes to smell nice.

After that, he didn’t know what to do. He just sit at the beach and stare at ground. “I hate Hidan so much, if he didn’t meet his stupid girlfriend, I would not follow him. But… he leaves no choice…huh…stupid.”

Speak of the devil, Hidan and Yerene just pass him. They didn’t recognize him. Kakuzu took a deep breath and shouts.

“I HATE MY LIFE!!”

Hidan and Yerene took a glance at him. “Why does that words sound familiar…hmm?” Hidan asked himself.

Kakuzu stay quiet for a moment and cry.

“Are you alright there bro?” Hidan ask in front of him.

Kakuzu look at him. “Hidan… stupid!”

“What? How do you know my name?”

“It’s me, Kakuzu.” He glared at Hidan.

“What? No way! It’s can’t be true… you must be joking, right?”

Kakuzu started to get irritated again. “Huh… forget it… leave me alone…” he sighed.

Hidan still didn’t believe it and then he leave Kakuzu alone.

“Yup… no one cares about me… even for Hidan… because he already has a partner of his life… I really hate my life…”

Then, Kakuzu were no longer crying or angry. He just want to be alone and clear his mind.

But, a miracle happen. Verene saw him. She knows because she’s a vampire.

“Have you ever killed a human before?” Verene asked.

Kakuzu look up and it was Verene. Now, he noticed. That Verene had a sparkled red eyes and long silky black hair. Her face was pale and very young.

“Of course…” Kakuzu gave her a short answer.

“Do you really hate your life?”

Kakuzu didn’t want to answer it. He was tired of it.

“I can change your life if you come with me.” Verene hold out her hand to Kakuzu.

“How am I suppose to trust you? You don’t even know me.”

“You don’t know me, but I know you, Kakuzu.”

Kakuzu once again shocked. ‘Is this woman for real?’

“How do you know that I’m here? Are you a stalker?”

“No…I can sense you…”

Kakuzu just gulp and stare at her pale small hand. Kakuzu had no energy left so he finally gave up. “Fine… I will follow you… it’s not because I want to… it’s because I’ve no other choice…”

“There will always a way to make decision, Kakuzu. You just gotta believe in yourself.” Verene hold his hand and then she take him the way home.

“Actually, I don’t really know if I can trust in myself anymore, I have no idea.”

“You will find out eventually, just take your time.”

Then, before the sunrise. Verene just took a glance at the sunrise until she noticed that she is burning then she quickly flew with Kakuzu.

“Do you like the sunrise?” Kakuzu asked.

“Of course… and sunset too… even though I’m a vampire, I could burn and my skin… erg…well you know that right?”

Kakuzu was thinking about how to thank her. ‘Wait, why am I think of that?’ Kakuzu’s mind was full of Verene right now.
