Get well soons

I tried to open my eyes. But the blinding white light won't let me. I slowly opened them and had to blink a few times to let them adjust to the light. I turned my head around to see that I was in a hospital room and see Angie sleeping in a awkward position on the couch. 
My throat was as dry as Sahara desert so I tried to sit.
Man, it feels as if Thor was racking my brain with his strombreaker. I tried to reach the jug of water on the stand besides my bed, but due to hands jerk the jug fell on the floor and broke, waking Angie in the process.

" Sweetie, if you need anything please ask me. You are still too weak to do any work yourself." She said sweetly.
" You were sleeping and I didn't want to wake you up, so I decided to help myself. I'm sorry for creating a mess.".

She stood up from the couch and came towards the stand besides my bed. She took a few tablets and handed them to me along with water. I took it without any hesitation and gulped them.

" Your dad would be coming here in an hour or so please till then take rest and I will call the doctor to do your check up." with that she left

She entered again with a young looking doctor.
" Hello Rose, I am your doctor Mr. Brown. How are you feeling now?"
" Hello doc, it feels as if Thor is racking my brain with his strombreaker. "

The doc gave out a chuckle.
" Funny aren't we? You can go home tomorrow. I should take my leave now. Get well soon. You can also start your work within a week." That said he left

After some time dad came along with some food.
" How are you feeling princess? I bought you Mac and cheese. "
" Thank dad. I'm fine now."

At night when I was sleeping my phone went off.
