We sat in the car in comfortable silence both looking out of the window in some deep thoughts.
Suddenly his phone rang and he picked it up
" Hello....yes Jack...but you said it was going fine....yeah...ok....I'm on my way..... yeah..see you in my cabin in 10 minutes max."
Is he going to his office now?
Is everything okay?
"Take turn towards my office" he ordered the driver.
" There is some emergency at the office, I'll have to go. The driver will take you home after he drops me off. " He informed me
I gave him a quite nod and again looks out of the window.
Closing the door behind me I saw a middle-aged woman standing by the sofa smiling at me.
" Hi Violet. I'm Angel the house keeper. Where is Xavier?" She spoke sweetly.
" He got some urgent call so he had to go to the office. And Angel please call me Rose" I said give her a warm smile.
" Oh sweetie, call me Angie and let me help you get out of that dress. You must be feeling very tired. Come on I'll take you to your room." She said
" Umm.... Angie for some days can you please shift my stuff in the guest room. Please". I gave her my best puppy dog eyes.
" Ok sweetie as you say so. But why?" She questioned.
" Umm...no reason. Thank you"
She helped me out of the dress and after that I went to bed and soon sleep overtook me.
