Mae punched the wooden frame of the door. "A fucking dog." She growled. "She ditched the tracker."
Scott smiled nicely at the elderly woman and apologized for Mae's rudeness before leaving the residence.
"Jane didn't do that alone." Scott said while opening the door to the car open.
Mae slid into the seat and Scott joined her on the other side. She had been infuriated ever since Jane ran for the third time. "Why dose she keep running?"
"Think about it, how would you feel about anyone after years of training and abuse? Wouldn't you want to just breath?" Scott pauses for a moment. "This isn't that though. She has connections of others who can help her. Those people gave her resources to plant her tracker into that woman's dog. Jane isn't thinking as a kid but as a soldier."
Mae began to pick at her dried lips. "Any possible suspects yet?" She mumbled as the car began to roll onto the road.
"None that are mentioned." Scott picked up a file that busted at the seams to Mae.
Hastily grabbing it she flipped through it vigorously. "How about those other experiments that it mentioned? Any of them out?"
"Actually they are part of an alpha team used for public missions." Scott responded. " A possibility but they did have a skirmish a while back so it's hard to say."

Jane had managed to get a black dress with a white collar on it from a thrift store. She also had on a similar black sun hat to cover the intriguing looks that she caught previously. Most likely someone recorded her either on security footage or on odd rectangular devices that they have all the time. Nick should know where she was heading by now, considering everything else, he probably had a prototype for her in exchange of information.
She waited outside The Electric Boulevard as the music inside started to play just as Nick arrived. His smile was pleasant as she put on her on. Stepping into the restaurant Jane almost froze. Her heart seemed to stop as she sucked in a breath.
White suits, 2 words, lots of them.
"Relax my dear." He whispered softly before giving a small tug.
"Of corse, Nick." Her eyes darted to the waitress instead. "Shall we eat outside?"
"Outside sounds delightful." His voice pricked at her neck and sent chills through her as she placed his hand on top of her own.

"Why did you tell her about the tracker then?" Said a well seasoned white male in a crisp suit. His hands shook but his voice was rough like sandpaper.
Mae huffed. "I didn't predict Jane would've reacted the way she did. It was planned well to be honest sir." Who sounded annoyed with each breath.
A mound slam of the geezers palm hitting the table caused the few glasses to shake. "She was trained Ms. Rosiland, we need to treat her with caution. You've seen what she's capable of first hand at that lab. You know the treat she poses out in public."
"There's also another possibility..." Mae suggested to the man.
"Jane might be involved with someone else." He grumbled.
"Which is why we need to find her quickly. Phantom could be still be searching for her not to mention the people who are helping her could pose a threat as well." Scott chimed. "Jane wouldn't have ran if she didn't have a plan of escape. She pretended to escape to get a layout, now possessing valuable information that compromises our current facility to an unknown threat. Jane trusts these people because there's a relationship. With us, Jane won't let herself be exposed. That's why we won't find her."
