Their first call out was given to no one. The person's powers were triggered just before committing suicide. Luckily, Jane had recovered Patchwork but no sign of Moonshine. Both Patch and Jane were transported to Scott, May, and Iwix's base. They had arrived a few hours after the skirmish and were able to give them a lift. It wasn't hours that Jane was out but several days of recovery. Her eyes were badly damaged assumedly from the exposure of energy, the chances of her seeing ever were slim.

"Hey, you're up!" Came a fuzzy voice as Jane shifted in the bent bed stiffly.

A heavy pressure laid on her chests as she flopped back down. She could feel that her energy that had been zapped from her. Jane felt the lightheadedness of being severely injured. The familiar fog hanging around her thoughts meant drugs, large amounts.

She croaked out. "No drugs." Jane reached slightly off the bed. "What do I have over my face?

"Bandages, without the drugs you will be in too much pain to heal properly." The voice cleared enough to be identified as Quint's. "You've been out for almost a day. We're still waiting to see how your other friend is doing."

"Where is he?" Jane sat up suddenly. "I need to see him." She started scooting off the bed before a firm hand was put on her shoulder.

"I don't care if you do have increased healing rate. You have broken ribs, what if one of them punctured your lung? He pinned one shoulder to the bed before letting out a huff. "In a couple of days you'll be rested enough to see him, ok?"

A low growl came from Jane. "By that time he'll be dead. I need to see him!" A wave of blue energy knocked Quint to the ground.

She said off the bead into a crouch seemingly looking at Quint before dashing to check nearby rooms. Her bare feet slapped against the floor with precision. Jane was too slow, she got a few yards before a transparent green wall pulled infront of her.

"Why are you so stubborn?! Get back in bed before you hurt yourself!" Quint was surprisingly mad at her, most often he kept his temper but not this time.

Jane turned towards his voice on her heel before bolting to him. Making a similar movement as to the first time he had saw her, Jane leaped up to catapult against the wall. Recognizing the move instantly he wrapped her in a blanket of transparent green aura. She struggled fruitlessly to get free, not even a pulse would help her.

"Let me go!" Jane yelled. "I need to help him!"

His grip loosened. "Help how?"

A loud boom came from Jane breaking his hold on her. She continued to frantically search for Patchwork. Spike made out of the same energy appeared in her way but she dodged them with ease like she could see. Avoiding Quintd creations wasn't a easy feet, Jane could feel the over usage of everything. She had no reserves to spare especially with one horn out of commission. Eventually she stumbled but not before having luck on her side.

"Damn it Jane will you li-" Quint stared as Jane cradled softly Patchwork's head.

Both of her palms spoke of life to the body now also covered in lines just like her's. Jane's likes flickered like a candle flame before she dropped limply resting her head on a similar stiff bed frame she had been in. His broken nose, many of his brides, and cuts had been healed. Jane, on the other hand, looked worse as her appearance gave the impression of death.

Quint stared at the the fact Patchwork had started to wake up even. However, when he woke up his attention was at Jane and what she did. He, unlike Jane, showed strong emotions instead of the occasional deadpan face.
