John's POV

I looked around, the city was on fire. I didn't know what to do, I panicked. Suddenly I saw her, Jamie, screaming for help, she was in her house, but it was on fire and she was crying . I tried to go and save her but I was stuck, my foot was stuck under a large piece of wood. I tried freeing myself when suddenly, a large piece of a house fell it was coming straight for me, I tried to get away but I couldn't. Suddenly it smashed down and-

I woke sitting up, breathing hard and fast, my heart beating a mile a minute. It was just a nightmare, I thought. I took a relieved breath. I looked at my clock, it was 6:17 AM. I tried calming myself down and I slumped back down on my bed with a groan. I decided to get up and I took a shower. I went downstairs for something to eat and grabbed an apple.

I looked out the window noticing the glorious sunlight. I walked into it closing my eyes, taking a deep refreshing breath. I itched my head and and took a bite of my apple.  After my heart had calmed itself and my breathing was regular again I decided to go upstairs and get ready for school. Ugh, I hate school.

What did school ever do for me besides assign useless pages of homework which I will never need later in life? I threw on a black tee-shirt, drainpipe trousers, and my trusty leather jacket and boots. I went out the door and hopped on my motorbike and rode to my school. My school's called Quarry Bank High school.

That kind of why my bands name is the QuarryMen, ironically, because all the members and I never pay attention to school. And "quarrymen" was a word they used in the school's anthem, even more ironic! On my way I parked at one of the bus stops because I saw a couple of girls to mess with and this morning was particularly not very good, so I decided I should have some fun.

I flirted with them for a little while and was about to leave as they got on their bus, but then I noticed someone else sitting on the bench behind them, Jamie of course. Book in hand, taking no notice of me. She was wearing a lovely white, navy blue polka-dotted button up shirt with rolled up sleeves, high waisted dark blue jeans and beige slip-ons. She made such a normal outfit look so stunning.

I stood in front of her waiting for her to look up. I coughed. "Oh, hello, John." She said looking up from her book. "Oh, hiya, I didn't see you there." I said jokingly. She smiled. "How has your morning gone so far?" She asked, closing her book and standing up. I suddenly remembered my horrible nightmare. "Not so good actually, but enough about me.." I said scratching my head.

"Oh, well that's too bad- Oh! My bus is here, farewell John!" She said grabbing her pack and jumping into the bus quickly. Once the bus doors closed I saw Jamie in the third window seat and waved to her, as the bus started leaving I chased it until it was too fast to keep up with. I watched it until it disappeared over the hill.

I started my way to my own school with only her on my mind. How could someone be so perfect? I thought. She must've been an angel, no, not an angel, she was devilishly beautiful. She must have been a demon cast out from hell for being too sweet. I smiled at the funny thought. My demon-angel.
