Kazuko rolled her fingers on the table, lightly tapping a rhythmic beat.
"When do Angela and Jinn get back from their mission?" She called out in a drawling voice.
"You asked two minutes ago, and the answer is still two hours," another member shouted back in an irritated voice. "If you're so bored, go do something about it!"
Kazuko flopped herself onto the table with a heaving sigh.
"There's nothing TO do!" She whined, waving her fists. "Angela said I'm not allowed to leave the bunker until she and Jinn come back, so I'm stuck here!"
"Go help out Zephyr or Vengeful or something!"
"They do medical and spy work! That has nothing to do with me!"
The member she was talking to sighed out in exasperation before walking away, muttering something about how Kazuko was indecisive.
Kazuko lay her head down, grumbling.
"It's not my fault," she mumbled to herself. "I was born this way."
Sitting around, doing nothing? That was as Anti-Kazuko as she could get.
She was afraid of turning back into that pathetic, cloudy girl she was before in the Tops sector.
Hell, just thinking about it was giving Kazuko migraines. Was it really only a couple of years ago that she was just a chained bird in a life full of boring happenings?
Ugh, it was disgusting to think about.
Kazuko pushed herself up and out of her seat. If adventure wouldn't find her, she would find it.
