PROMPT: Listen to the spooky soundtrack of a haunted forest and freewrite whatever comes to mind as you listen.
Important to know so it makes more sense: I had another program open in to write and couldn't see the video playing.
I don't want to look. That's a cricket. A frog. I know it's some guy on a synth machine, just like XYZ used to have. But I'm going to listen and not watch because I'm afraid of what I'll see creeping through the scene. What if there is something there making that sweeping noise? Something unintended. Something REAL? Something the person making this soundtrack didn't put in the video, but it got attracted all the same because it's like a moth to a flame with all the people listening to this spooky thing and creating all this exciting fearful energy. There! That could be a footstep. I really wish I had scrolled the screen up because now I have to go back to the page it's on and turn off the damn video and I really don't want to see what's on the screen.
