August's P.O.V

That nigga got me tight........i'm glad i got there on time cuz we was doin alittle to much.......after i put my gun in the glove compartment i looked over at kayla and she had her knees scrunched up to her face and she was holding her legs close to her and was looking straight shaking........

Me: kay you ight.................................shit why did you get out da car

She kept looking straight, not turning my way

Kayla: .................................................i just wanted to leave..............i didn't wanna stay here.............................and you've been in there for and hour and a half..................*crying* i just wanted to go h-h-homee

I reached over and rubbed her back but she flinched.........................i take full blame, i should have never brought her over here

Kayla: i just wanna go home and take a shower............he touched me, with his d-d-dirty hands.....................

I started the ignition and started driving

Kayla:*softly* thank you for coming before it was to late

Me: don't thank me.....................i shouldv'e never brought you ova here in da first place.............

She didn't finish her sentence..............i kept driving and then pulled up in my driveway.......

Me: i'm really sorry................i hope you forgive me

Kayla: it's okay................i'm glad you saved me...................i forgive you

She got out and walked to her door and went in.............i got out and went in my house and the first person in my face was mel

Melvin: what the fuck wrong wif you cuz

Me: whatchu talkin bout

Melivin: you take a bitch to the trap and when some body wanna fuck her you put em in the hospital

Me: *mad* first off she's not a bitch...........second it's sad how you listen to them before you ask ya own blood what's up

Melvin: then tell me what happen

Me: Kayla lives next door..........and i drive her home....today i had to make a quick stop so i took her wif me, i told her to stay in the car but i took to long so she came lookin fo me and some crac head grabbed her up and she called for me and when i got there he was all ova her and she was crying trynna make him stop so..................i went and helped.............but my anger got outta control and yeah............i wound up hittin him with the gun and he took a couple kicks to the stomach...........shit nigga lucky i didn't shoot em

Melvin:*shakin his head* damn nigga..............................lemme ask you somethin

Me: what

Melvin: you like her don't you

Me: yeah i like her

Melvin: i could tell...............cuz all my life nigga i never seen you beat up somebody for a girl outside the family

Me: mane you shudda seen her face *shaking my head* she was scared outta her life.....

Melvin: what's takin you so long.................get wit her

Me: nigga ion wanna have a relationship, but i want a relationship.......only wif her doe........................you haven't seen her yet

Melvin: naa but she must be bad enough to have you frighten for her

I laughed and went upstairs I took off my clothes and switching into only sweats with no shirt..........i ain't gettin to comfy cuz i'm finna hit up that party...............i sat at my computer desk and got on ig i started looking for kayla but i couldn't find her so i went on facebook and looked for her there....then sombody inboxed me

KayPresscot: hey

Me: kayla?

kayPresscot: yeah.......................

Me: you good

Kaypresscot: yeah, i just got out the shower

Me: i'm just glad to hear you good...............ion want you paranoid because of what happen today

KayPresscot: I'm not paranoid.............because now i know somebody got my back

Me: nd who's that

KayPrescot: August Alsina

Me: i'm glad you know i'm always gonna be protecting you

I looked up from the computer out the window and she was sitting on her bed on her labtop..........she had on a shirt and her hair looked crazy.I just started laughing and typing again

Me: what's up with your hair

KayPresscot: how you know how my hair look

Me: look out ya window

She looked up from her labtop and to the side where the window was and started laughing

KayPresscot: i didn't know we had a clear veiw of eachother

Me: i did.................from the last neighboors

KayPresscot:......oh, but my hair looks like this because i washed it..........it wasn't looking like this about an hour ago

She still looked sexy in simple clothes and messed up wild hair..................i didn't tell her dat tho

KayPresscot: you still goin to that party

Me: yeah................i'm leavin at 8...............you still wanna come

KayPresscot: i don't know..................i'm tired

Me: ight so how about.................you go to sleep now......and i'l wake you up at 7

KayPresscot: but you said you leavin at 8

Me: yeah

KayPresscot: how imma get ready in 1 hour............................

Me: just don't worry about it, go to sleep

KayPresscot: okay

She stopped writting back and i just started looking at different stuff then when i looked up she was still on the computer..........i got up opened my window and sat on the ledge..................her window was open....making my job easier

Me: *halfway yelling* go ta sleep

She got scared and jumped up making her labtop fall off her bed......she looked at the window holding her heart

Kayla: if my mac is broke you owe me another one

I started smiling and she got up and closed her labtop and got in bed getting under the covers

Me: wait.................kayla

She turned around......and got up and came to the window

Kayla: what

Me: how am i supposed to get you up...............i need to call you

Kayla:P fine

She rubbed her face and left for a second with paper and a sharpie.................she wrote something on the paper and crumbled it up

Kayla: catch

She threw the paper as far as she could and i caught it.....i opened it and it had her number...when i looked back up kayla was getting in her bed.......i gave a half smile and went back on the computer.......
