With the weather getting colder I felt myself getting sick and more irritable. It was now mid-November and everything was moving so quickly that I could barely keep up. The office was stressed right now, because clients from foreign countries were coming in for the holidays so we had to work over time to meet the demands of every client.

I didn't mind working overtime, since I got to see my man more often now that I was living in my own townhouse. I also needed additional money so I could pay on my car note. Last week I took a leap of faith and purchased my first car that was fresh of the lot. After the charity event, I stepped my game up and I started bringing new clients in left and right. Everyone in the office was impressed with my skills so I felt glad that I finally got to prove myself.

I currently so engrossed in checking over the new property value reports, that I didn't hear my phone ringing. I felt bad because I was seeing my friends less now that holiday season was starting to pick up. I saw that it was Geia so I immediately answered it in case it was an emergency.

"Finally you answered. You're always working now and it's seriously starting to concern me. You've had the same stomach bug for three weeks now and I think you should get that checked out." Geia sternly said while shuffling some papers around in the background.

"I'm fine Geia. People around the office keep getting me sick so I'm going to take it easy this weekend. Anyways, what's the update on Yvette and Evan?" I asked hoping for news that they were recovering.

Over the past four weeks that Yvette was in the hospital she's been making vast improvements. When she woke up from her medically induced coma she named her son and agreed to join an impatient program for her suicide attempt. Tyler was being supportive to my surprise and taking care of both of them. Their son Evan was starting to gain some weight, but they wanted to keep him longer to monitor his health.

"It's the same since you visited a couple days ago. If Yvette can prove that she's doing better, they're going to release Evan into her care in a couple of weeks." Geia replied.

"I'm glad that everything's working out for them. Also, you can put me down for an appointment tomorrow around 1:00. It's slower on Fridays so I'll ask Bryson for a longer lunch break." I said while clutching my stomach to ease the queasy feeling.

"Ok sounds good to me. I'll see you tomorrow and please help me convince Isabel to bring me back a rooster from her trip to Pakistan. She'll be back next week and I need some new excitement in my life." Geia said with a serious tone.

I rolled my eyes at her ridiculous request then I hung up after we said our goodbyes. This weekend Geia, Jordana, and I were going up to have a girls night out and I hoped that my stomach felt better, because I wanted to finally relax.

The day was almost over so I started to send out my last emails. A knock on the door caused me to look up and I was happy to see my man standing there with a box of food for me. He looked more tired than usual, but he was still looked handsome and I couldn't get enough of him.

"Hey babe what'd you bring me?" I excitedly asked with getting up to greet him.

"Hello to you beautiful. I brought you some nachos, since you were cooped up in here all day." Bryson replied before he pecked my lips and pulled me into his strong embrace.

A smile spread on my face when I nuzzled my nose against his. I haven't felt this happy in a while and I admit that this was stronger than feelings, I was falling in love with him. Bryson got up then opened the box of nachos so I could eat. As soon as the smell of beef combined with cheese hit my nostrils, my stomach began to churn. I abruptly pushed him out of the way, then ran to the bathroom down the hall. I barely made it into the stall before I emptied out the contents of my stomach. My throat burned and I felt worse than I did earlier today.
