"WHAT in the name of CATS is causing all of that NOISE?!" Lizzie suddenly shouted. The meowing of all of her cute kittens was suddenly being drowned out by the sound of constant clucking, a sound that she had never wanted to hear again, and was now being forced to listen to.
Her cats had grown in numbers, and there were at least 6,000 by now. Their meows filled her world with happiness, but also a sort of need. A need that could only be satisfied if she continued to produce more and more cats. She needed EVERY cat.
Lizzie exited the castle, only to find its walls surrounded by a moat of feathers. Chicken feathers, to be precise. On LIVE chickens. And there, front and center, outside the gates, leading the army of revolting creatures, was none other than the Chicken Bandit himself, Scott.
Lizzie opened up Discord on her other monitor and hopped into the voice chat that Scott was on.
"Scott! What the heck do you think you are doing?!" Lizzie demanded.
Around two hundred cats exited the castle, backing Lizzie up in case a fight broke out. They licked their lips, hoping their master would allow them a chicken dinner.
"Joel has sent me to get you for dinner. Holy bejesus! He wasn't wrong! Lizzie... That is a lot of cats..."
"I have like 30 times this amount inside. I told him I'd be down at 7:30." Lizzie scoffed.
"It's 8:00." Scott replied, unimpressed.
"It is? Oh my gosh, it is. Well, that's no excuse to attack me with your chickens!" Lizzie retorted. One of Lizzie's cats had gotten sick of waiting, and lashed out at a chicken getting too close for comfort, killing it instantly.
"Ahh! Get your cats under control!"
"My cats can do as they please! Don't tell me what to do with them!"
"Seriously, Lizzie, this is unhealthy! Maybe you should just walk away and take a break. You'll see how bad this many cats will be if you just take a step back."
"6,000 cats isn't too many! It's not nearly enough! I want one to name after each and every one of my subscribers!" Lizzie argued.
"Lizzie, that's impossible. You have more than three million subscribers! That amount of cats isn't actually possible for the server to handle-" He was cut off abruptly.
"Don't tell me what to do! I have to do SOMETHING, and the server has very few things we can actually do!" Lizzie complained.
"Lizzie, seriously, listen to me."
"No, YOU listen to ME, Scott. I love my cats more than anything! You will not get me to stop, ever!"
"More than even Joel?" Scott asked, softly. He was starting to realize how bad the problem truly was.
"Don't bring him into this!"
"He's your boyfriend, of course I'm bringing him into this!" Scott was trying to hide his nervousness, and didn't know if he was succeeding or failing. "You've been hiding from him all day!"
"Have not! I've just been... Busy!" Lizzie told him.
"Lizzie..."
"You know what, Scott?! I've had enough of your peskiness. From now on, we are at WAR! You understand me?! War! Your chickens will BURN! Everything you love will die! You understand that? YOU WILL HAVE NOTHING!"
"Lizzie! You don't mean that..."
"Yes I do!"
"You want to split the server and go to war?"
"Yes." Lizzie said, determined.
"Fine! If that's what you want!" Scott huffed.
"It is!"
"Alright then, I guess this is war."
"I guess so..." Lizzie said. There was an awkward pause.
"I should go..." Scott said.
"That would probably be a good idea..." Lizzie agreed, quietly.
"Alright... See you tomorrow for D&D."
"Can't wait! See you then!"
"Have a good night."
"You too." Lizzie said politely. "Please get your chickens away."
"Right, of course, yes. See you!" Scott pulled out some seeds and began leading his army away.
Lizzie sighed, glancing at her phone. "Huh. It is past 8. I should go apologize to Joel." And with that, she logged off the server for the first time all day.
