Kyle was busy tracking his wife's location on Find My Friends. The girls were either asleep or watching a movie, and he didn't need to disturb them just to watch where Yammy is. What confused him was how she had almost gotten to Callum's house, but was now headed, quite quickly, in a totally different direction.
He was snapped out of his tracking trance when his phone rang. Seeing the caller ID was Joel, he carefully clicked the "answer" button, and held the phone up to his ear.
"It's Kyle, what's up?"
"Your wife ischasing after Joey andMeghan, who are here tokidnap Callum to get atLizzie andI'm freakingout." Joel's voice was rushed, blurring some words together.
"She's chasing them?"
"In a car. They have Callum."
"Oh my gosh. What is she thinking?! You can't get in a car chase in real life!"
"That's what I tried to tell her, but she hung up on me."
"I'll try to call her. Gosh this explains a lot..."
"Thank you." Joel seemed to finally take a breath.
"Also, Stacy, Mariel, Shelby, and Britt are on a jet headed here. So we'll have more hands on deck soon."
"Speaking of extra help, where is Scott? I haven't heard from him recently." Joel asked his friend.
"Weren't he and Yammy going to meet up to check on Callum?"
"Oh Lord, I have to call him."

"So, is that car following us?"
"No, I think you're just being paranoid." Meghan sighed, voice full of disappointment.
"If you think so." Joey relented.
"I know so." Meghan rolled her eyes. "Can we pull over and get Scott out of the trunk?"
"I can slow down, but I'm not stopping." Joey told her.
"Fine." Meghan agreed with a quick eye roll, her first priority was getting Scott out of the trunk.
Meghan climbed into the back of the car next to Callum. "Help me out here?" She asked the gamer.
"Yeah." Callum agreed. The two helped Scott out of the trunk. As soon as he was out, Meghan started to take off his gag while Callum pulled off the ropes.
"What the heck, Joey." Scott said as soon as his mouth was free. He rubbed his head softly, trying to ease the pain from the bump that was now certainly growing on his head.
"Are you okay?" Callum asked, concerned.
"Yeah, I'm fine. Are you?"
Callum nodded.
"Why are you letting them kidnap you?" Scott asked his friend in a whisper.
"We are trying to keep Joey from hurting Lizzie by delaying his plans to go after her." Meghan whispered back, answering the question for Callum.
"So he is after Lizzie?" Scott asked.
"Basically." Meghan whispered softly, untying his legs.
"What are we going to do?" Scott hugged himself.
"You about done?" Joey called back.
"Yeah, I'm coming!" Meghan began to climb up to the front. "Buckle up." She whispered back to the two boys.
"So, what are you thinking?" Callum asked softly as he buckled himself in.
"I'm thinking that Joey forgot to take my phone off me." Scott smiled at Callum, pulling his phone out of an inner pocket in his hoodie. "So we should contact the others."
Callum's face lit up.

"Why is he slowing down?" Yammy asked. She was in the lane next to Joey, about two cars back. She was doing her best not to get caught trailing him, but she couldn't afford to lose him.
Her phone started to ring. She picked it up. "It's Yammy." She said, allowing her chin and shoulder to hold the phone as she focused on the road in front of her.
"Hey hon, it's me."
"Hey Kyle. What's going on?"
"Did you happen to see Scott while you were at Callum's?"
"Uhh, no, why?"
"We haven't really had any contact with him in a little while, and he doesn't seem to be answering his phone."
"Shoot. Ummm, let me know if you learn anything, okay?"
"Sure, sure. Drive safely, okay? Car chases are not supposed to be done in real life, you know..."
"Love you!"
"Yammy..."
"Bye."
With that, Yammy hung up the phone, and not a moment too soon, as suddenly as he had slowed down, Joey was speeding up again. She quickly switched into his lane and sped up, determined not to get left behind.

Joel got a notification on his phone. "Find My Friends: Scott would like to start sharing location with you."
Joel's jaw dropped. He opened the notification, and clicked accept.

"What are you doing?" Meghan asked Joey. He was changing lanes yet again. This had been five times in the last two minutes.
"We're being followed."
"I don't think so."
"That car has been matching our speed for the last three miles. I've been fluctuating, so I'm sure. Watch, it'll follow us off the highway."
Sure enough, a car two cars behind them merged over to exit with Joey.
Callum and Scott gave one another a look of fear, as Scott buried his phone in his sweatshirt. He had only been able to friend Joel and Kyle on Find My Friends, no one else.
"Where are we headed?" Meghan asked, fearfully.
"We're losing them, whoever they are."
