TUESDAY - 6:02 AM

Finn sat up straight, tiredly rubbing his eyes with his fists. When he looked around, he didn't see Jack, and it sort of terrified him. He instantly shot up and off of the sofa, running out of the living room and into the kitchen where the light shined the way. Someone had been in there, but they weren't there anymore. Finn then walked around the kitchen corner, peering down the hallway and spectating it cautiously. He spotted the bathroom light shining through the door and crept towards it.

"Jack?" He whispered lowly.

He slowly opened the door, not wanting to intrude if anyone was using the toilet, but sighed in relief when he saw Jack tiredly sitting on top of the bathroom drawers, his head resting against the wall and his arm propped up on the sink. He looked awake, but he had his eyes open slightly like he was tired.

Jacks eyes moved to the sound of the door creaking open, and when he saw Finn; he smiled and sat up straight, one hand clutching the sink and the other grabbing the side of the drawers to keep himself up steadily.

"What's up, Finn?"

"What are you doing?" Finn asked, quietly closing the bathroom door shut behind him.

"Oh, nothing really, just came in here to splash some water on my face and reset." Jack explained, sighing gently.

Finn peered at the clock on the wall, then looked back at Jack with a concerned look. "But it's six AM."

"Yeah, it's fine, I just couldn't sleep." Jack laughed.

Finn hummed in response, leaning against the door tiredly. He was starting to let himself fall asleep, before the sound of Jacks voice brought him out of his tired trance.

"What did you talk about with, Sophia? You left with her right after I came back with her." Jack raised a brow.

Finn instantly felt panic circling through him. He gulped, six in the morning probably wasn't the best time to start confessing things, but he felt the urge to just spill how he felt. He felt so desperate; so desperate to let all of his feelings go and just take the love from Jack that he wanted.

"Nothing really. What did you talk to her about?"

Jack stayed quiet for a second, looking down at his feet as he started to quietly kick them against the drawer. "Just a crush."

Finn felt a spark shoot off in his chest. He remembered what Sophia talked about how Jack had said he liked him, and how Finns heart kept telling him that he needed to tell him that he loved him back, but his brain kept telling him not to.

"Who?" Finn asked with a smirk.

Jack suddenly turned red. It surprised Finn a bit, because he barely ever sees Jack get flustered or embarrassed, but it also made him grin.

"Just, this one person. We used to talk a lot, and I used to have a crush on them back when we used to play with each other, but then we sort of parted." Jack sighed, slumping back against the wall.

"Is it someone in our friend group, then?"

Finn already knew the answer. Jack was either trying to give obvious hints or was letting out his emotions and accidentally saying too much, but either way, Finn was amused.
