TUESDAY - INTERVIEW - 11:34 AM

As everyone ran around and jumped up and down in excitement behind the scenes of the stage and the cameras, Sadie had already pulled up a chair behind the view of the cameras and sat down, waiting for the show to begin.

Sophia was on the other side of the room, not taking her eyes off of Sadie as she watched her smile widely and shuffle in her seat excitedly.

Jack could practically see the heart eyes, watching in amusement and amazement.

Meanwhile; as Sophia was staring at Sadie and Jack was staring at Sophia, Finn was on the other side of the room, identical heart eyes projecting their way right at Jack, like a scanner, searching his beautiful features but also his movements.

The way his smile widened and made his cheeks turn pink, when he'd start jumping up and down on his feet in happiness like no one else was watching him, the way he could show intimate love for his friends and not feel judged or embarrassed about it.

Everything about him just made Finn smile unconditionally.

"Alright! And we're starting in — three! Two! One!"

"Hello! I'm, Alice Macey, and today — I'm bringing you the happiness you need!" She exclaimed cheerily, quickly turning on her feet and gesturing her hand to the side of her where the losers stood, waiting to run onto set. "Please welcome — Sophia Lillis! Chosen Jacobs! Jeremy Taylor! Finn Wolfhard! Jack Grazer! Jaeden Wesley! And, Wyatt Oleff!"

As she announced everyone's names, they all ran onto set like they had run into a dream — their happy place, the place that made them most comfortable and happy. They all did their collective spin-arounds and jumping up and down and cheering before shaking Alice's hand and taking a seat on the sofas around them.

Alice took a seat in her sofa chair, facing the kids with an excited smile, the cards she was holding in her hands being shuffled frantically.

"So! What's been going on lately, Guys? Any new movie roles? — I mean, apart from IT Chapter Two, what big movies?" Alice squealed.

"Oh! Me first!" Jaeden laughed, waving his hand in the air.

Wyatt passed him the mic — their hands lingering (and it was very clear) but once they noticed they were on camera, they quickly let go.

As Jaeden started talking about his new movie roles and everything he'd been up to, Finn and Jack were messing around and whispering to each other.

Just like that twenty-seventeen summer.

"Do you think everyone watching is rolling around on their floors and squealing?" Jack joked.

"Definitely." Finn sniggered quietly.

As the two laughed, they pressed their foreheads together and giggled and wheezed quietly while patting and slapping each others arms gently.

Sophia coughed and nudged them, earning their teary-eyed-attention. She smiled widely as she tried not to giggle, nodding her head to Jaeden, who was just finishing speaking about the role he got for a new movie to come out called Knives Out.

Finn and Jack playfully straightened their posture and leaned closer to Jaeden. Jaeden instantly noticed and got thrown off, starting to giggle and rub his temples, burying his face into his lap as he passed the mic back to Wyatt.

Wyatt looked around nervously, leaning into the mic maybe a bit too close. "I've just been playing video games and filming with, Sophia."

Everyone laughed as his loud-pixeled-voice boomed through the speakers and into their heads.

"Speaking of filming with, Sophia — Sophia! What's been going on with you?" Alice smiled, leaning forward curiously to Sophia.

Sophia took the microphone from Wyatt and opened her mouth to speak, but was cut off by herself when her eyes caught glance of Sadie.

She hadn't even realized she'd been staring until Sadie started giggling and blushing and ushering her hand towards Alice.

Sophia smiled widely without reason and shot back up into a normal sitting position, looking back at Alice and smiling as she spoke.

Now it was Sadies turn to get entranced.

Despite Jack and Finns obvious flirting and Jaeden and Wyatts silly play-fighting, she was completely stuck in a world of Sophia.

Her beautiful, short, slightly-curly hair that made her giggle at just the sight, how her eyelashes fluttered against her cheeks when she blinked, her smile and her laugh, her freckles — everything was just so beautiful.

And not by coincidence, Finn had happened to witness the whole thing before his very eyes, and snatched Jacks attention back to himself.

"Did you see that?" Finn cringed with excitement, goosebumps and tingles being sent to his arms and legs.

"No!? What happened!?"

Finn whispered everything to Jack.

But Jack couldn't help but get flustered and red at the feeling of Finns hot breath against his ear, trying to play the feeling off in front of the camera with a wide smile — like he knew what Finn was saying the whole time and that the distraction of his breath on his neck didn't make him want to squeal weirdly to himself at how lovesick he truly was.

Although; he was listening to all the bits that caught his attention.

"Woah — really?" Jack gasped excitedly.

Finn nodded frantically with his eyes glittering and his grin spread cheek-to-cheek.

Jack peered at Sadie, smiling softly when he saw how Sadie was looking at Sophia.

It reminded him of how he would constantly stare at Finn; dreaming of them both together, even though, even as a child, knowing that it would never happen. How he would just sit there and look over the table at the same boy who he'd been pining over since he met. How he would just pray and wonder why they couldn't be together. How sad he'd get when the realization that they'd never get that close, despite all his attempts at physically and emotionally showing his love.

How he'd just constantly cry over why it was so impossible as to why they couldn't be together.

Oh, how wrong he was.

And, oh, how he wish he could go back in time and tell his sad, love-depressed self that everything would turn out amazingly in the future.

But.

Will it stay that way?
