SATURDAY - HOTEL LOBBY - 12:44 PM

Jack didn't know whether to run away or stand still and hope the ground swallowed him up at any second, or he'd wake up hyperventilating and sweating but with Finn cuddling him close, or maybe even Millie being just and figment of his imagination and none of this was really happening.

But Jack slowly inched his thumb and index finger towards his arm, then he pinched.

This was definitely real.

Jack didn't even know if he should say anything, if he should get the attention of both people. But he didn't. He turned. And he ran.

Finn turned his head as soon as he heard the quick movement of footsteps beside him, but all he saw was the hotel doors slamming shut. He didn't even see anyone through the transparency of the doors.

He just saw the trees make a single brush against the wind.

Meanwhile; on the other side of the wall, Jack made sure no one could peer through the hotel doors to see him cry. Yes. Cry.

Jack leaned against the wall, slamming his hands onto his face as he wailed into them. His legs slowly started shaking, so instinctively his knees carefully bent and he slowly lowered himself onto the ground. As he sat there and sobbed into his hands, he didn't realise the person walk up to him and hover above his shaky-frail body.

Sophia stared in shock, her eyebrows furrowed in sadness and her hands clenched to her sides. She was frozen. Lost at a sort. She'd never really seen Jack cry, only once, two years ago while they all watched a movie in their hotel room.

"Jack?..." She managed to croak out.

Jacks head shot up and he instantly wiped away his tears at the sight of Sophia. A smile appeared on his face and he started giggling — Sophia; shocked and confused, kneeled down to his level and cupped his face, wiping away the tear stains from Jacks rosy cheeks.

"Whats wrong?" Sophia asked warily, carefully letting her hands fall to the floor to steady her body from rocking.

"Nothing! Why, what's wrong with you?" Jack responded cheerily.

Sophia furrowed her eyebrows angrily, grabbing at Jacks wrists and holding them harshly. She then snatched his gaze and held it. Jack tried avoiding it for as long as he could, be nerves got in the way of his confidence, and he looked back up at Sophia with shaky eyes that looked like they were about to leak pools of tears at any second.

"What's wrong?" She asked again, this time with tone.

Jack suddenly started to shake in Sophias grasp, letting himself fall into her and cry into her shoulder. Her eyes widened slightly, caressing his head with her hand and hugging him protectively close.

"I don't believe it." Sophia whimpered quietly.
