SATURDAY - 8:13 AM
"Finnie! Wake up!"
Finn was woken up by the sudden shouting in his ear. Toppling forwards from the shock, he brought Jack down with him. As they hit the floor, Jack groaned and rubbed his eyes with one hand while using the other to clench onto Finns shirt for support and reassurance.
"What the fuck is going on?" Jack mumbled tiredly.
Millie had only just realized how Finn and Jack had slept together. The sudden realization stabbed her in the stomach so far it caught her aggravation, and it started to bubble from the pits of her belly and up to her face; where she held an ugly scowl.
"What are you both doing, like — that?" She rolled her eyes, crossing her arms as she limped on one leg so she went down slightly, making her look smaller than she really was.
"What do you mean?" Finn sighed, opening his eyes again slowly. Finns eyes widened at the sight of Millie. Sitting up properly, he looked at her with a mask of happy surprise, behind his mask a look of pure annoyance. "Millie! What are you doing here? Isn't it, like, really early?" He fake smiled.
Millie took his gaze again and smiled, her scowl instantly being replaced with a cheesy grin. "Just came to wake you up! We have a big day today!"
Finn held her gaze a little longer, wanting to drop his jaw — but he didn't. "Oh," he smiled wider, making him look quite weird and obviously uncomfortable. Although, Millie didn't seem to notice. "Nice! Let me just get dressed."
Millie smiled and giggled, nodding her head slightly. Before finally walking away (like Finn wanted her to do) she looked to Finns side, spotting Jack making an unamused face. She rolled her eyes at him, finally walking away while waving her hips in a sassy way that said she didn't care about what Jack thought at all. Jack interpreted her rolling her eyes in a silly way, making Finn snigger slightly.
When Millie didn't turn around to see, Finn knew he was in the clear, especially when he heard the door slam close.
"What an asshole." Jack huffed in irritation, throwing himself backwards so he was laying back down again.
"We can get through it, Jack." Finn sighed with exhaustion, throwing himself back beside him.
"But she's so annoying." Jack groaned, rubbing his eyes slowly and bringing his hands down from his face harshly so his cheeks went down and exposed the bottom of his eyes, leaving go of his face and making his eyelids slap together. "Ow."
Finn laughed quietly, turning on his side and wrapping his legs around Jacks waist and pulling him closer. Jack snuggled in perfectly, sighing a long sigh before drifting back off into sleep again.
"Sorry, Jack." Finn frowned. He slowly and gently let go, replacing himself with blankets and pillows for Jack to snuggle into if he wanted to. "But I'm not gonna make you put up with her like I have to."

12:38 PM
Finn and Millie were currently walking around the outside of the hotel. Millie couldn't make up her mind about whether she wanted to go in the pool or go out to eat, or even go to the little park the hotel had acquired. Finn was obviously started to get annoyed very quickly as he stood waiting for her to stop expecting the fucking pool and rubbed his face in his hands.
"Why, me?" He whispered to himself, removing his hands. "How's it looking, Mills?" He called out to her.
Millie blushed. She loved it when he called her that. 'Mills'. It just sounded so right. A nickname she only allowed him to use. No one else. Just him. Just Finn.
She smiled, turning around and trying to hide the blush on her face by putting her hands on her cheeks. "Everything looks good!"
"So, are we swimming then?" Finn asked, a bit of hope in his voice.
Millie looked at the pool again. And then it occurred to her.
Finn in his swim trunks — no top.
That had done it for Millie. She spun around, her whole face like a cherry underneath the coatings of makeup. She nodded her head frantically and held her thumbs up in agreement.
"Cool!" Finn called out to her.
Underneath the layers of fake he had on, he pumped his fists and jumped in the air in relief.
"Let's go get our gear!" Millie cheered, running past him but also grabbing his hand on the way, pulling him with her into the hotels lobby. "This is going to be the best date ever!"
Date.
The word rung through Finns ears and drilled into his head painfully. He stopped in the middle of the hotel lobby, still connected to Millie with her grasp tight around his hand.
"This what?" Finn asked, even though he already knew the answer.
"This date." She giggled. "I'm taking you up on your offer. Do you still remember? When we filmed season one you asked me on a date."
"And you said no." Finn reminded, aggravation starting to rise really quickly.
"Yes, I did," she grinned wider. "But now we're older, and I understand more, and I'd love to go on a date with you."
—d I'd love to go on a date with you.
That's all he heard as he approached the two. Not the rest. Not the bit where Finn had popped the question years ago. Not the bits he was supposed to hear in the conversation. No. Not those bits.
He stopped in his tracks. His eyes were wide as he stared the two, the tears rising to his eyes quickly and falling out even faster — rapidly.
Jack felt his heart shatter and the shards stab against his chest, then his stomach.
