-Peeta's POV-

I wake up to my phone ringing. Katniss. I answer it.

"Hey Kat." I yawn.

"Peeta do you wanna come to my house.." She says.

"I'll be there in a minute," I say and hang up. I get dressed and walk to Katniss's house. I open the door and run upstairs to see Katniss on her bed playing on her phone.

"Hey." I say.

"Heeey!" She yawns.

"You seem tired." I laugh.

"Iris keeps me up. I dropped her at Effie's, I Don't plan on having 2 kids to take care any time soon." She giggles.

"Unless it's triplets then you have 4 kids." I laugh. She looks at me with her grey beautiful eyes.

"Sorry." I apologize. Maybe not the best time to joke around.she slaps me. "Ow!" I say rubbing my cheek. "You deserve it." She laughs. I stick out my tongue and she shakes her head, sticking out her tongue. I grab her wrists and she giggles. I pin her hands on the wall and kiss her cheek.

We play around and eventually calm down.

"I love you." She says smiling.

"I love you too." I say.

"Do you love me real or not real?" I ask.

"Real." She whispers.

We grab a blanket and snuggle up. We watch grown ups 2. I look to my side at Katniss. She's wearing one of my big blue hoodies, grey sweatpants and comfy socks. She laughs at Adam Sandler. I smile and look at our inter winded fingers. I'm so lucky to have her. Her beautiful grey twinkling eyes, her soft olive skin, her silky, wavy brown hair, and her gorgeous smile that can light up a room.

All I can think about is the box. The box that has a piece of something that can change our relationship. Forever. It's just 3 little words, but it has a big meaning. Soon the movie is over.

"Katniss can you meet me at the meadow at 7?" I ask nervously.

She nods and pecks my lips.

I leave to my house.

-Katniss's POV-

I put on a floral dress, brown tall leather boots, golden hoops, a leather belt in the middle of my dress, curl my hair, and add makeup.

I run out of my house and towards the meadow. I greet a few people on the way. I make it to the meadow. It has twinkling lights everywhere, a picnic blanket in the middle, it's beautiful. Suddenly Peeta appears and gets on one knee.

He pulls out a black box. I gasp and cover my mouth with my hand, it's not what I think it is. Is it?

"Katniss Everdeen, I know I am a man of a thousand words but my love to you is unexplainable. People say my mood changes when I'm around you and my eyes light up. Only you could make me feel this way. You are my soul mate, my other half, we were meant to be. Would you do me the honor of marrying me and becoming Katniss Mellark?" He says.

I nod and say "yes." Through tears. He slips the ring on and kisses me.

"Katniss Mellark." I say.

"Katniss Mellark." He confirms.
