Please leave comments! I love reading them! (Also this is like a thousand words woah)*Note the sarcasm
Keefe launched the brown paper bag into his arms, struggling to juggle the large number of groceries in his hand. As one jar started sliding from his grasp, he frantically tried to grab it, dropping all of his groceries in the process.
The cashier covered her mouth in shock as loaves of bread and jars of beans went flying all over the floor.
Keefe stared at the mess he had created, hands on his hips.
"Oops."
He bent down to grab all his groceries, placing them carefully in the already full paper bag as he tipped the cashier for his clumsiness, strolling out of the doors leisurely.
Today was going to be a perfect day. Well, he hoped, anyway.
Whistling cheerfully, he placed the products in the trunk, and started the car, driving back home.

Keefe unlocked the door to his house carefully, making sure that Sophie wasn't inside. He slunk into the house like a panther, gently placing the groceries on the countertop and making his way through the entire house, checking every room for any possible signs of Sophie. Once he was satisfied, he walked back to the kitchen, preparing for the task that lay ahead.
As Keefe began to chop vegetables, his hands began to sweat. Nervous thoughts invaded his head like the plague, making him sick to the stomach.
What if I'm not good enough?
What is she says No?
Keefe scrambled over to the radio, hoping the music could drown his poisonous thoughts.
And it did. The music calmed him, sending blue waves of calm through him like a lullaby. Keefe turned on the stove and began cooking, humming to himself. Soon, the entire house smelled like wonderfully seasoned heaven.
Keefe packed all his wonderful food into a million assorted containers (though it did take quite some time to find all the lids) and took a step back, looking at his creation.
Perfect!
He grabbed his phone out of the pocket of his jeans and dialed Sophie's number, anticipating the moment her voice would come on the other side of the phone.
"Hello?"
"Hi Sophie," He squeaked nervously.
Uh oh. He cleared his throat quickly. He could not give any reason for Sophie to be suspicious.
"Um, hey, where are you right now?"
"I'm at Target," Sophie said. "I'm picking up a couple of things for the house. Why?"
"No reason," Keefe replied, trying to act nonchalant. "I was just wondering if you would want to go on a picnic?"
"Right now?"
"Yeah," Keefe said, scratching the back of his head nervously.
"Oh, all right," Sophie replied. "Could you pick me up?"
"I'm on my way. Love you."
"Love you more," Sophie said as Keefe hung up the phone, smiling. He was absolutely elated. His plan was on track!
He rushed out the door with his keys in hand and got into his car, hands shaking from excitement.
And then he realized he forgot the picnic basket and went back to go and get it.
Anyway, now he was on his way to pick up Sophie, quite aware that this could change his entire life and blasting 'Shake Your Groove Thing' on full volume with the windows down.
The high he got from this feeling was unexplainable.
He pulled up in the Target parking lot, driving to the front and scanning the crowd for her blonde hair. His eyes finally landed on her, and she looked,
Well, beautiful.
Her golden hair was flowing in the wind and she was staring at the clouds, a serene look etched across her face. She held countless Target bags in her hands.
Keefe chuckled. He knew she couldn't resist the throw pillows.
He pulled up next to her and she pulled out of her peaceful trance, smiling as she climbed into the front seat.
"Hey," she said casually, clicking in her seat belt.
"Hey," Keefe said back, smirking and throwing her a wink.
She laughed and shoved him good-naturedly, throwing her head back.
"Just keep driving, you dork."

Keefe could not have been happier at this moment. The sun was warm on his face and the grass was green, and his hand was twined with Sophie's. They walked through the park leisurely, watching the birds in their nests and the squirrels race up trees.
Sophie's stomach rumbled. "Guess I should've eaten breakfast, huh?" she said, smiling at Keefe.
"Not to worry, your hero is here to save the day," Keefe replied in a low manly voice, striking a pose and flexing.
Sophie giggled as he got to work, placing the patterned blanket on top of the grass and removing his various containers of food from the basket. After he finished, he stepped back faced Sophie, taking a bow.
"M'lady," he said quietly, taking her hand and placing a feathery kiss on her fingers.
She blushed and looked away. "Keefe," she whispered into his ear. "I would say 'You shouldn't have,' but I'm starving."
Keefe chuckled and hefted her into his arms as she squealed, spinning her around and around. Laughing, he set her down gently on the blanket and handed her a plate, piling it mile-high with food.
She started eating. "Keefe, this food is amazing!" she exclaimed with her mouth filled to the brim with food.
"Only the best for my lady," He said, smirking.

They had eaten food like there was no tomorrow, gobbling spoon after spoon. Keefe didn't think he could eat for the next month.
Sophie helped to pack everything up, folding the blanket as Keefe put all the empty containers back into the basket. Sophie handed him the folded basket and he placed that with them, closing the flaps and placing the basket on the grass. He smiled softly.
"Look over there," He said as he pointed into the distance. "That flower almost matches your beauty."
Sophie smiled and turned around, her eyes roaming the fields of grass as an attempt to spot the flower that Keefe had described.
Keefe got down on one knee and pulled the ring box from his coat pocket.
Sophie still had her back to him. "Where?"
"Turn around, " Keefe said softly.
Sophie turned around, confused, face morphing into one of sheer surprise as she took in the image in front of her, Keefe on one knee, holding out a ring.
Tears fell from his face.
"Sophie Elizabeth Foster, " He choked out, "Will you marry me?"
"Yes," Sophie breathed, tears falling fast and hard as Keefe slipped the ring on her finger and pulled her in for a hug.
