Chapter Seven:Dinner with the Hales

yooooo my phone has or still is off depending on when I publish this, so its been pretty hard to update my stories.

Derek dropped Stiles off in the schools parking lot discreetly, they kissed and then Stiles walked to his jeep. Derek sighed and drove out onto the road, he was pretty sure that his parents didn't know he ditched. The ride there was quiet, the heat in his car buzzed almost silently. Butterflies erupted in his stomach his nerves starting to take over.

what if they find out, what if he can't play football for the rest of the season. He tapped at the steering wheel trying to calm himself down. They wont know, he reminded himself. His house came into view and he felt as if he was going to vomit, he steadied his heart rate and parked his car in the grassy drive way.

He got out the car and sucked in a deep breath, he walked to the front door and unlocked it. He could hear all the movements within the house, his parents were home, and so were Daniel and Amanda but that was about it. Derek shut the door behind him and raced to his room.

He quietly closed his door and locked it, with a sigh of relief he slipped off his book bag and coat. He kicked off his shoes and plopped on his bed grabbing his laptop from his nightstand. He clicked it on, he typed in his password, Stiles.

Stiles decided to drive around for a bit so that he and Derek wouldn't come home at the same time, his jeep was warm and the Music playing was decent. Stiles tapped along to the beat and hummed to the lyrics, the trees blurring past him. He could go for some food, he sighed to himself and drove to the closes place he could find. McDonald's.

He bought a apple pie and a smoothie. He decided that Derek has probably been home for about fifteen minutes so he could go back now. He checked the time, 7:13 pm,he nodded to himself and started towards the Hale house. He got to the mansion quit quickly. The houses illuminated with light, Stiles shrugged and walked in eating his apple pie, bookbag on his shoulders.

His smoothie was still full so he went inside slurping on his drink. He saw movement in the kitchen and heard footsteps upstairs, he swallowed his apple pie and threw it in the trash in the kitchen. Talia stood there cutting vegetables with Amanda and Daniel.

"How was school? "Talia asked with a genuine smile.

Stiles missed that, missed being asked how his day was by his own mother. He cleared his throat so that his voice didn't sound raw with emotions.

"it was okay, boring mostly."He laughed awkwardly, Daniel chuckled.

"I feel ya,high school was not that fun but college..."He smirked at Stiles.

Stiles grinned, he felt sad though, his father doesn't have enough money for him to go so he has to get a scholarship or he can't go at all. Amanda looked up with a sympathetic look in her eyes, can she read his mind? Stiles panicked suddenly, he felt his face heat up.

"I have homework, so im just gonna..."He pointed upstairs awkwardly his face heating up some more. Talia nodded still smiling and started cutting some more veggies. Stiles rushed to the room his bookbag moving up and down his bag. He quickly rushed into his room and closed the door in a flash.

His threw his bookbag to the side and placed his smoothie on dresser. He walked into the bathroom and locked both doors, he relieved himself and washed his hands. He opened the door to Derek's room and saw his boyfriend on his laptop typing away with headphones in his ears. Stiles leaned on the door way grinning, he felt like the luckiest guy ever.
