I wanted to comprehend
The deep dusk and your silhouette
My hands connecting to yours—
Your grin and my tilting head.

For I just knew it was murky
And long for due
You accepted my friendly glance—
Gleefully admired by you.

But I couldn't remember!
Not even a single lips-to-lips
For I fret I might be a bad kisser
For you to call it quits!

Though I knew that you smiled
Showing both of your evident dimples
Reminiscing the wholesome seconds
Being shared with you.

But I still don't remember the still picture!
Of you and me, our significant features
But I knew that you smiled— and that's what matters
All I knew is last night— makes me encouragingly ponder...
