2 Weeks Later
It finally came. The day I had to take my entrance exam to see if I would get into Clearwater's School. I was nervous but excited all at the same time. When my father pulled up outside I started fidgeting in the back of the car and looked out the window at the buildings.
Several buildings made up this School, all of which were ancient. My attention got snapped away from the buildings to my mum as she pointed out, "This is it."My parents began to leave the car, so I followed them and that's when I noticed Samstandingd near the entrance, with his hands in his pockets and hunched over, looking as nervous as if. Maybe even more so. He did pack in a lifetime of superhero knowledge into two weeks for this exam. We had all helped him the best we could and we all hoped it paid off. I walked towards him, and my parents followed me.
"Hey," he said when I stopped next to him.
"Hey, do you know if the others are here yet?" I asked him.
"No, I don't think they are here yet. They still have a few minutes though," he answered. "I can control my power better now. I've been practising."
"That's good. So your mum is letting you come here?"
"Yeah, as long as I don't get into trouble and I pass the exam of the course," he answered.
"Well, you better not get in any trouble. I want us all to come here together," I ordered.
"I'll try," he said. "I might not pass the exam though," he added.
"Don't say that. You'll do great," I told him.
"We are going now, honey. We will pick you up later ok?" Said, my mother.
"Yeah, ok bye mum," I replied.
"See you later," she said and hugged me. Then she and her father walked back to the car.
A while, later I saw Liam, Sophie, and Peter make their way toward us. They waved and said hi to us.Then we all walked inside the building, to find the main hall. The five of us walked around about three times in search of it until we stopped and asked someone. I think the boy we asked was a student since he only looked about a year older than us.
"Hi, can you tell us the way to the main hall?" Peter asked the boy.
"Yes, of course. Are you here for the open day and exam? It is just down there. You should be able to find it, it's the door opposite the cafeteria, " he told us, pointing down the corridor.
"Thanks very much," I said.
"No problem," he acknowledged and carried on walking to wherever he needed to be.
We walked down the corridor like the lad had instructed, and saw people going into what I assumed was the canteen so we opened the door on the opposite side. Then we walked in. The room was huge and had a stage near the front in which a man and a woman stood. The seats lined up in rows satnumerouss new students. My friends and I looked like the last ones there so we went to go sit down.
"Nice of you to join us," the woman said, once we had sat down.
"We got a bit lost," Sam replied.
"Yes, I expected so. The school is very big. I'm just happy you found us because now we can begin," she explained.
The man walked to the front of the stage with a microphone in his hand and then began to talk.
"Hello, welcome to Clearwater's School for Heros. I am assuming you are all here for the introduction opening day and exam. As you may have already guessed, this school is more like a university," he started and the students all went quiet.
