KING
King drove home with his mind filled with negative thoughts that didn't know how to reach the exit door. His thoughts consisted of his new wife and her feelings towards his obligations, the new vigilante agency that could hurt his wife, and not to mention he probably wouldn't be able to take off work for a while. As he pulled up to his driveway he noticed that the kitchen light was on, and he let out a deep sigh knowing that a fight is going to be inevitable for the night.
He hopped off his bike and skipped the steps two at a time that led to the front door, and put in his key and opened the door.
"Babe, I'm home!" he yelled out as he walked to the kitchen. Naomi was on one of the stools with a glass of wine and the bottle right beside her as she was scrolling on her phone.
"I'm sorry, I didn't know that I was going to get pulled in so soon. I was planning tomorrow to talk to him, but you know how my job is. Also, I can't step away from my job right now." King revealed. Naomi picked her head up instantly.
"What do you mean you can't step away from it right now," she asked her voice low.
"I mean there is a new enemy group, they know us, and they could be after us. So that means I won't be able to stop working until we get to the bottom of this," King spoke.
"King, we literally just got done with our honeymoon. You can't work right now, we are supposed to be managing this whole marriage thing without the distractions of work." Naomi argued.
"I know Naomi, but I have too. If I don't we are possibly in more danger than ever, why can't you understand that?"
Naomi stood up from the stool with her glass in hand and said, "I do understand, and just because I understand doesn't mean that I have to like the fact, that my husband can't take some time off, to help me with this marriage," and with those words Naomi walked up the stairs ignoring the desperate pleas of King.
GAMBLE
Gamble had practically broken every traffic law in the book when he raced home to see if Andrea was ok. When he made it home he checked the exterior to see if there were any signs of forced entry and noticed that there were none. He entered the home and noticed that all of the lights were off, and in the kitchen, it was all clean. He went up the stairs to the bedroom and let out a sigh of relief when Andrea was sleeping in bed.
He decided to take a shower before he got in the bed, so he stripped off his clothes and hopped in the shower and then grabbed his sweat pants when done and got in the bed behind Andrea. He then started to drift off to sleep.
Gamble woke up when he heard a rock being thrown at the window. He marked it down as a kid trying to woo someone, and that they would eventually realize they had the wrong house so he ignored it. He shut his eyes and he jumped up when a brick was thrown through the window. He hopped up and grabbed his gun that was under the bed and rolled to the window. He stood up and leaned against the wall, and pulled back the curtain and looked but no one was there.
Then, a thud could be heard from the bathroom that was attached to his bedroom. He swiftly walked over to the door and put his head on it and listened. He swore he heard soft murmurs and soft cries. He looked towards the bed and noticed that Andrea's body wasn't there. He kicked down the door and saw Andrea on her knees on the bathroom floor tears streaming down her face, as K.P. stood over her with a gun pointed to her head.
"I told you we'd come after you," K.P. laughed evily as he shot Andrea.
Gamble jolted awake, his breathing erratic, and his body covered in cold sweats. Andrea turned on the bedside lamp and held him until he stopped shaking.
"Baby, you're ok, everything is fine," she cooed as he started to calm down and balled up in her arms.
"Hey, what happened in the dream," Andrea asked as they laid back in the bed.
Gamble went into detail about the dream and then filled Andrea in on the threats of the new villains. Once he was done they laid back down with Andrea's head on his chest and their arms wrapped around each other.
"Oh, baby, we are going to be ok, you don't have to worry about me," Andrea whimpered.
"But I do, these people are dangerous and I don't know what would I do if I was to ever lose you, especially to the other side," Gamble explained as he looked at the ceiling.
"Gamb, ten years ago you didn't lose me even when we broke up. I know for a fact that definitely you won't lose me now, especially to an enemy agency." Andrea assured.
"Have I showed you how much I love you," Gamble whispered as Andrea sat on his lap and saw that naughty twinkle in his eye.
"Not lately, no," she replied. As Gamble sat and gave her a seductive kiss, and as the night continued with adult fun for the two the nightmare that Gamble had was a distant memory.
BLUE
When Blue arrived home she saw Ricardo and the boys sleep on the couch, she let out a soft laugh and grabbed the babies and took them upstairs and put them in their cribs. Once that was finished she headed back downstairs and went to wake up Ricardo. She sat crossways on his lap and started peppering his face with sweet kisses and eventually he woke up and kissed her back.
"Keep doing that and you'll get pregnant again," he smiled causing her to laugh.
"C'mon let's go to bed," Blue replied as they walked up the steps towards their bedroom. They took a shower together, and got in their bed and started talking. Eventually, the subject was changed to the mission, and Blue revealed all the details about the mission and what happened after the mission.
"So what do you want to do?" Ricardo asked as he played with her hair.
"I don't know, I mean if what that guy said is true, then that means we aren't the only two in danger, our three sons are in danger. I want to say let's hire a bodyguard, but I don't know if we would be able to trust them. However, we also live in the middle of nowhere, and that guy could have been bluffing." Blue pondered.
"Well, I say go to the meeting tomorrow let Park give you some more information, and then we can make a decision based on what we know and what we think is best, because I don't want us to move the boys to a safe house only for us to find out that they only know the name of Carter and don't know where we live, and our routines," Ricardo explained.
"Yeah, that sounds smart," Blue agreed.
"Yeah, I am the smart guy after all," he boasted.
"Oh my god," Blue sighed.
"You know if I can make you say it the right way then your night will have a nice ending," he whispered seductively as he rolled on top of her.
"Will it be worth my while," Blue answered as they kissed.
"I'll let you be the judge of that," Ricardo murmured as he kissed her neck. And with that Ricardo fulfilled his wife's time with some much needed loving, and a bonus the boys slept much longer than usual.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Hoped you guys enjoyed this chapter and don't worry King and Naomi will soon be back in their lovey-dovey phase, and the argument will be a distant memory. Also, the next chapter will probably be some more parent action for Nicole and Damien because I haven't written about them in a while.
As always I will see you guys in the next chapter. ;)
