Lethal Adults

Chapter 8

The next morning all three Carter adults got up early for the meeting with the board. Even though Gamble was the only one apart of the board the other two tagged along because their lives could potentially be in danger and they needed to have a game plan. So that morning at 7:00 they were standing in the parking lot waiting before the meeting started. Blue dressed in a black pantsuit, King in a black suit without a tie, and Gamble in a black suit with a tie.

"So any hopes for this meeting?" Blue questioned as they started walking towards the doors.

"Resolutions, at this point. I want this all to go away or at least the board finds a plan of action that's good," King replied as they all entered the codes to get in the building.

"I'm sure the board is capable of coming up with something useful to utilize," Gamble sighed as they entered the elevator to get to the conference floor.

"Are you saying that because you are apart of the board?" Blue questioned.

"No, because our parents are on the board," Gamble responded. They rode up to the elevator and when they entered the conference room they noticed that people were still running late to get there, so, for the time being, they just played on their phones.

"Sorry to keep you all the waiting, Damien and I were working on a pleasable yet workable plan to deal with this new group," Nicole announced as she and Damien walked in both wearing black as they sat in front of their children.

"So can someone give us a rundown of this new group for anyone who hasn't learned of them yet?" Damien insisted.

Park began, "What we know is that they are completely worse than BDWTA, the agents are brought in at an early age and then trained to make them some pretty stiff competition. What we know is that the agents are brought in by summoners, majority of the times the agents' parents' are rich and they are expected to inherit the money, and at some point, TDF has seekers gives them the opportunity and stages their deaths, and gives them a completely new name and look. Also, they are incredibly racists they have neo-nazi tattoos and say they are helping the American soil by protecting it from the LGBTQ community, the jews, and anything else that they deem destructive. One of their main goals is to spread their beliefs and practices and make slavery a thing again. If anything they are much more dangerous than BDTWA, and BDWTA has since disappeared since the whole Adelyn, Asher, and J.K. debacle."

"So BDWTA could just have changed everything and became this new force to be reckoned with?" a member asked.

"No, they couldn't have this group is much more trained, and BDWTA wasn't known for being racist, this group is different," Gamble answered.

"What about the mission you three went on can you guys give us some detail about that?" Nicole asked.

"They were trained to say the least. One guy that we got rid of said that he pledged to die under them, and the tattoos are a sign of that. Another thing is the tattoo was located on the same place for all of them, on the wrist with the confederate flag under the nazi tattoo." King explained.

"When I was fighting Cindy I noticed a small tattoo that was behind her right ear, and the tattoo was a blade with the words 'white lives matter' scribbled on it," Blue recalled.

"The DNA team also picked that up on K.P. and Patrick, and we think this is a company tattoo because when we were able to research we found out that none of them had a history of racism or homophobia."

"So that would mean that TDF is essentially brainwashing them to believe something that wouldn't normally practice or believe," a board member chimed in.

"Exactly," Park concluded.

"Which brings us to a plan of action. Now there is going to be a gala/ball situation that is happening this Friday. A lot of wealthy people and their kids will be attending, we have intel that seekers of TDF will be attending, what we are going to do is send three agents undercover along with Blue, Gamble, and King. I want you three to attend with your spouses. We are sending in three younger agents in hopes that one or all get close enough to get pulled into that agency. Until that day, we have pinpointed several different locations that we are sending agents to infiltrate. " Nicole explained.

Damien continued, "The more places that agents infiltrate the more information that we have compiled to get a better understanding of our new enemy. You three will be tasked with three of the ten locations, one on Monday, one on Tuesday, and one on Wednesday. While that is undergoing the agents going undercover will be highly trained and then on Thursday you three will speak with him and give them some last-minute tips before the big day. Also, a lot more of our team will be surrounding the area so it won't just be you six it will be maybe 15-20."

"Any questions?" Nicole finished. No one raised their hands and just nodded in agreement.

"Well thank you, back to work." Damien sighed. Everyone grabbed their items and exited the conference room except Blue, Gamble, and King and their parents.

"Nice idea," Blue complimented.

"Hopefully it will work," Damien said with hints of uncertainty as he buttoned up his suit.

"It'll work, but I need to talk to you two," told King.

"What is it nephew," Nicole probed.

"Naomi she needs me to take some time off work, but I tried to explain to her that it is going to be hard to do because of this new thing that is happening right now. Maybe I could take off international missions and missions that require too much of travel," King suggested.

"If you take off international then that means you probably will be home less than you already are, but let me see what happens after the gala this Friday, I think I might be able to clear your schedule but not that much," Nicole remarked as she scrolled on her phone.

"Thank you, aunty, I appreciate it," He sighed out in relief. They all talked some more but then eventually they had to head home to get their minds right for this busy week that was nearing the corner, and they weren't sure if it was going to be nice.
