Lethal Adults

Chapter 28

A few weeks and the pain simulator was all the adults ended up working on. Every day the same routine and someone different tapped out on different levels and suffered the consequences, and then they were right back in the fighting ring. So everyone was super excited when Paki told them that today they would be doing something different and pain simulation was officially over. When they went downstairs the hanging torture chains, which they named, were gone, and the ring of near-death was erased. They gave the ring the name because everyone had a near-death experience in there but they had all fortunately made full recoveries. Instead, there was a medium-sized rack with weapons and the assistants were wearing protective gear.

"Today you all will be put to the test with your favorite fighting methods. Blue you enjoy using knives, King you prefer hands, Gamble you prefer guns, Andrea you like to use the technique of stick fighting, and Ricardo for some odd reason you prefer sai swords. So with that being said today, you will fight using those weapons in drills. Blue you are up first to go, grab the fighting knives and sit in the circle with your legs under you." Paki instructed. Blue did as told and grabbed the knives and sat in the circle.

"Ok, Gorpy is going to be blindfolding you now. Now for this, you are going to be relying simply on your hearing. All of my assistants are going to come at you from different angles and you need to be able to defend yourself by throwing the knives at them. Sometimes you aren't always going to be able to rely on sight, so this is the first step that you must take. Now I need the rest of you to be quiet, make as little to no noise as possible." Paki told them.

"Ok, begin," Paki stated. Blue took a deep breath and focused on the small things. The noise that would be made would barely make any volume so her concentration had to be on point. She heard a small squeak come from the right side and she tossed the knife to that side.

"Stop, Blue when you throw the knife give it force because getting it to stick in the place you throw it will be hard. You got it in the right direction and it hit someone but it didn't stay in place. Try again." Paki corrected. Blue listened and took another knife in her hand, she heard a small noise come from the front of her and this time she slid her thumb and index finger to the bottom and threw it with so much force that the knife stuck this time.

"Good. Begin." Paki congratulated. This time Blue heard something from behind her so she threw the knife behind her.

"Good. Begin." This time Blue heard something from the left so she took the knife and threw it to the other side.

"Good job, alright next up Gamble since you prefer guns grab one off of the rack. You will undergo a gunfight. You will go up against Lopp and you need to be able to get in a perfect position in order to fire the gun, don't actually fire it just point the gun." Paki insisted. Gamble made his way over to his spot as Blue left it and stood in position.

"OK, begin." Paki commenced. Lopp grabbed Gamble's arm that had the gun in it and tried to kick him in the ribs but Gamble blocked him and kicked him in the chin instead. Gamble dropped to the ground and swung his foot on Lopp's which caused him to fall and pointed the gun to Lopp's chest.

"Good, job. Begin." Paki stated. Gamble this time kicked Lopp in the rib and went to aim but Lopp came and spun around him all while getting the bullets out of the gun he then punched Gamble in the back.

"Stop. You have to be faster and just because you won one round doesn't mean you can get all cocky and think you've won. Be faster than him and outsmart him." chastised Paki.

"Begin." This time Lopp tried a jump spin kick but Gamble managed to dodge it in the knick of time. He then took the barrel of the gun and aimed it Lopp's elbow, then he kicked him in the knee and pulled him to the ground with the gun pointed at his head.

"Much better but still needs work. Anyways King you are next since you like fighting so much with no weapons I am making this drill hard. You will be fighting with your hands tied behind you. You have great hands and your punching technique is near perfect but it is the legs that need work so come here and let me tie you." Paki commanded. King walked over with compliance and stood and let him tie his hands and when he was finished he walked over to the floor and got ready.

"Begin." When the words were uttered from Paki's mouth a few of his assistants came toward King in perfect fighting stances. One of them flew towards King and began to punch at him and while a few connected King was able to dodge majority of them. He kicked the assistant in the stomach then kicked him the jaw with the top of his foot. Another assistant went for King's knees and got him on his back but King quickly decided to do a flip kick and landed it right in the middle of the opponent's face. The final opponent was a challenge, to say the least. He was at least a foot taller than King and weighed considerably a lot more which made him look like a giant while King looked like a scrawny boy with muscles. The enemy ran towards King and tackled him to the ground causing them to fall to the ground with rolling involved. The enemy used the fact that King was tied up to his advantage. He straddled King and started punching him over and over again the face. King was growing angry because he wasn't able to protect himself but he knew he needed to calm down in order to get himself in the right stance. He used his lower body strength and jerked the opponent off of him and rolled out of the way and stood on his foot. King ran towards him and he front flipped landing his knee on the other guy's jaw before landing on his ribs.

"Excellent, exactly what I wanted now because I have run out of assistants Ricardo and Andrea you two will be going against each other, may the best in law win," Paki explained. Ricardo and Andrea shrugged and walked over to the weapons rack, Ricardo grabbing sai swords, and Andrea grabbing a bo staff.

"Now begin," Paki instructed. The two circled each other before Andrea took the bo staff and jabbed it at Ricardo's rib.

"RICARDO IF YOU HIT HER IN THE FACE ITS ME, YOU BUDDY!" Gamble yelled from the sidelines causing everyone, even Paki, laugh. Ricardo rolled his eyes and ignored him and started to attack. He readied himself sai swords in hand and began his attack. In a flash, he was up on Andrea trying to end the match as him as a winner. He was quick but Andrea was just as fast she was blocking him just as fast as he was attacking her. He managed to block the staff and stepped on it with his foot and threw the sai sword towards her but she ducked down and stood back and yanked the staff from under his foot which caused Ricardo to fall backward but his athleticism kicked in and he performed a kip-up. However, Andrea wasn't done when he made it back up she swung the staff in his rib causing him to fall and when that happened she slammed the tip right in his gut.

"Match over. Winner Andrea and that concludes today's training. See you tomorrow." Paki announced as he and the staff grabbed their items and left.

"Wow, you got cocky and lost," Blue spoke as she walked over to her husband and pulled him off the ground.

"You have to admit I still got it though," Ricardo stated with a wink.

"If you mean stamina and quick thinking then yeah," Blue stated as she slapped him on the butt causing him to glare at which she simply laughed.

"Baby, that was so good, I am so proud of you." Gamble cooed as he rushed over to his wife and scooped her up in his arms and hugged her and pressed her face with kisses.

"Thank you, baby you didn't do too bad yourself," She said as she pulled him down for a searing kiss.

"Can yall stop being in love and c'mon I want food and this kid is sitting on my bladder and it is yall fault." A pregnant Naomi complained as King helped her up from her seat

"How is it our fault we didn't knock you up?" Blue questioned with a chuckled as they followed her upstairs along with King.

"Shut up and let's go Blue Carter." Naomi hissed causing Blue to laugh at her.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Awe they are all so adorable a few more chapters and then this sequel will be finished and who knows might even add another book.
