When they made it headquarters Park was down in the lobby talking to some agents. When they pulled up and all got out of the car Park sprinted towards them along with some on-call medical staff.
"Are you guys ok, I didn't know what happened until this morning?" He pressed.
"It could be worse," Ricardo answered.
"Ok, we are taking all of you the medical floor to assess the injuries," Park explained.
"Oh my God what happened to you guys," Nicole stated as she and Damien walked over to them, taking the babies.
"Kidnapping, by those rookies. They work with TDF. Not to mention Gary got out," Blue answered as they started putting her and everyone else on gurneys.
"I know I heard about the Gary thing this morning but the rookies were undercover?" Park questioned as they all started to get wheeled away.
"You know Park you really got to be careful about who you bring in here this is the second time this has happened," King stated.
"Well, at least this time we know who the leader is," Gamble stated.
"Even then can we up the security some more," King interjected.
"I will work on it right now. Emergency meeting with the board, right now you six need to be checked on. We will watch the boys," Damien answered. They all nodded their heads and made it to the medical ward where all their injuries where checked. Blue, King, and Gamble all had mild concussions. Blue had two black eyes, two cracked ribs, and bruising. King had some bruising on the wrists and a knot on his head. Gamble had a knot on his head and also some major bruising on the back. Ricardo had cuts and bruises on his face. Naomi had bruising everywhere, a black eye, and a bruised jaw but luckily the baby is ok. Andrea had cuts and bruises as well. They were all in the same room the difference was the men were on the beds and the women were in the tubs filled with hot water, ice, and Epsom salt.
"This feels so good," Naomi began.
"It does, doesn't it really soothes the muscles," Andrea added.
"How does it feel for you Blue?... Blue?" Naomi asked again after receiving no answer.
"Give her another thirty-second," Ricardo replied. They looked at Blue's tub and noticed that she was submerged underwater.
"5...4...3...2...1," Ricardo counted and at one Blue was back to the top. When she arose and wiped her eyes she noticed everyone looking at her.
"What?" She questioned.
"How long were you under there?" King asked.
"Five minutes," She replied.
"You stayed underwater for five minutes?" Naomi questioned in disbelief.
"It calms me, chill out," Blue responded as she leaned against the metal tub. Just then Park walked in with Damien and they both came in with a file.
"Ok, so we have good news and bad news. We know where Roger is currently stationed, the bad news is that he and every recruit he has is there waiting for you three." Park began.
"What do you mean waiting for them?" Andrea questioned.
"I mean that they found out you all broke out and they are not going to do anything until Blue, King, and Gamble do something. My guess is that they are waiting for the retaliation attack, the issue is that if you three do go and attack the base you are risking your lives dangerously. It would be you three versus thousands of trained people." Park answered.
"Well, they came after the family Park so what do you think we want to do?" King asked sarcastically.
"Look I know you guys are more than pissed off right now but I do not advise you guys too and try and kill them." Park insisted.
"Then what do you want them to do. Play some waiting game, let them attack us all over again so maybe the next time we all have to be rescued it is a better experience." Naomi argued.
"I'm saying wait. I am saying go under intensive training, more intensive then when you guys first joined, then you go in and attack them." Park explained.
"The issue with that is that TDF trains people to be immune to pain if want a fair shot at beating them then we have to do the same. We need to make sure that pain isn't something that is going to hold us back when we know it won't for them. They will be staggering I am sure but they won't quit as BDWTA did." Blue added.
"Excellent point, niece. Now with that being said all of you will be stationed back at your old house living there for one month. Everyone, except Naomi, will undergo extensive training and will absorbing alarming amounts of pain, effective immediately. Now Blue, and Ricardo for their safety Nicole and I will be watching the boys, I apologize for it having to be this way, but if they were bold enough to take the boys there is no doubt they would do more if your position was every compromised." Damien talked.
"We understand, but how come Andrea and I have to undergo training as well?" Ricardo questioned.
"Because if you two were to be attacked again we want you guys to be prepared, not to mention but you guys are going on the mission with them, they will need all the help they can get," Damien answered.
"You will be going back to the old house after your time here today. Ricardo you and Blue will still be able to see the boys every day when we come in here for the training. You all will be training even if your current injuries aren't healed properly," Park stated.
"Wait, you can't be serious," Naomi interjected.
"It's ok we have done this job under much worse injuries," King stated.
"Yeah remember when King broke his arm on one mission and to fight his way out with one arm and two legs," Gamble reminisced.
"Or when Gamble got shot in the leg," Blue added.
"Or when Blue got a deep cut in her rib and they cut it to her side," King added.
"Trust me, Naomi, we have done a lot worse under a lot worse conditions. We will be fine we promised," Blue assured her.
"Training starts Monday, if there are any updates we will let you know, in the meantime, some trusting agents are going to be at your residence grabbing your essentials and then they will be moved into your old group home. Now enjoy the soak and get to healing." Damien finished as he and Park walked out.
"So in normal regular non-spy terms, we are going under witness protection, and you five are undergoing training for some mass murder that is set to happen in one month," Naomi asked.
"You got it," Andrea answered.
"Could be worse," Gamble said.
"What could possibly be worse than this?" Naomi inquired.
"Oh my dear, a lot of things," King replied as he took a long gulp from the bottle whiskey he and the guys were sharing. They all sat in silence the guys passing the bottle back and forth while Blue and Andrea shared a bottle of gin, and Naomi stuck to water for obvious reasons. As the time in recovery continued they each were all hoping that this nightmare was almost over because none of them wanted to live something like this again.
