I had the weekend all planned out. I was going to spend it with Fred, George, and Lee - while getting the opportunity to stare at Fred when he's not looking. But no. I feel myself being shaken awake, and when I open my eyes, I see that it's Angelina Johnson, another Chaser. "What?" I ask. "Quidditch practice" she says, yawning a bit. I glare at her. "Angelina, it's the crack of dawn. It's Saturday. Why now?" I ask irritably. "Wood has a new training regime, I think. We need to be at the Quidditch Pitch in fifteen minutes" she says. She leaves only when I get up. I groan and sleepily put on my Quidditch uniform. I grab my broom and a hairbrush and I walk to the common room where I see Fred and George, who are looking puffy-eyed.

"Never seen you without your hair done up before" George teases with a lazy smirk. I can tell he's tired but not too tired that he'll pass up an opportunity to tease me. I glare at him. "Shut up" I say as I climb through the portrait hole. The three of us walk to the Quidditch field in relative silence, most of the sound coming from me raking my hairbrush through my long, thick hair. Once I'm certain that all the knots are out, we are in the changing room. I sit in between Fred and George. Katie Bell, Angelina Johnson, and Wood are already here, and Katie and Angelina are sitting across from us, yawning. Since I'm not moving anymore and I'm in the warm changing room, fatigue starts to drift over me again, like Uncle Jasper is standing behind me, trying to put me to sleep. To try and keep myself awake, I do my hair. I put it into pigtails with French braids in each one. Once I'm done, I yawn. Can't hurt to rest my eyes for a minute I think to myself. I let my head droop and I doze off.

"So, is that clear? Any questions?" a voice asks, jerking me awake. I jerk Fred awake to. I notice that I was sleeping on his shoulder - he was sleeping with his head against the wall - and I'm drooling a little. I see Angelina smirk at me. I blush. I see George smirking at me to. "I've got a question, Oliver," I say irritably. "Why couldn't you have told us all this yesterday when we were awake?" he's not happy. "Now, listen here, you lot," he says, glowering at us. "We should have won the Quidditch cup last year. We're easily the best team. But unfortunately - owing to circumstances beyond our control -" Wood has to take a moment to regain control of himself.

"So this year, we train harder than ever before... Okay, let's go and put our new theories into practice!" he shouts. I yawn, grab my broom, and walk out of the locker room. I kick off of the ground at the same time as Fred and George. This broom is amazing! It's faster than the Nimbus 2000 by quite a lot - I outstrip George easily and Fred soon after - and it's much more sensitive than the Nimbus 2000. I pass Harry to. "What's that funny clicking noise?" calls Fred as we hurtle around a corner. I look into the stands, and I see Colin Creevey in one of the highest seats taking pictures of us. "Look this way, Harry! This way!" he cries. "Who's that?" says Fred. "No idea," Harry lies, making me chuckle. "What's going on?" says Wood, frowning. "Why's that first year taking pictures? I don't like it. He could be a Slytherin spy, trying to find out about or new training program." "He's in Gryffindor" I say. "And the Slytherins don't need a spy, Oliver," says George. "What makes you say that?" says Wood testily. "Because they're here in person," says George, pointing. I look in the direction he's pointing and see several people in green walking onto the field. I groan and fly to the ground.

"Flint!" Wood bellows, landing beside me. "This is our practice time! We got up specially! You can clear off now!" "Plenty of room for all of us, Wood." I scoff. I notice Angelina and Katie standing beside me. "But I booked the field! I booked it!" says Wood, spitting. "Ah," says Flint. "But I've got a specially signed note here from Professor Snape. "I, Professor S. Snape, give the Slytherin team permission to practice today on the Quidditch field owing to the need to train their new Seeker." "You've got a new Seeker?" says Wood, distracted. "Where?" A figure moves from behind the large Slytherin players. This boy is much smaller. This boy is Malfoy.
