Chapter Thirteen:What exactly happened

" so you see why I thought I had found her." DeLeon asked bringing out of my thought. I'm the girl but I can't tell him.

" yeah and I'm sorry for everything I did to you. " I said unconsciously.

" What.. " he asked confused.

" I mean I'm sorry for what she did to you." I recovered.
" I ..I have to go now I'm sorry. " I didn't wait for an answer and ran out.

Who the hell cried for me?

I have to find out. I just have three fucking days one more tear drop to go thanks to that person I have a chance to live.

" Boo! " I screamed as soon as I heard that.

" Common it just a joke. " Neil said laughing his eyes out.

" Not funny Neil. Why can't you be serious for once. It my life in line here I just have three days left. " I said furious at him. I just found out my ex best friend remained in love with me for years.

" I'm sorry. " he said. Rarely I hear those words from him so it must be sincere but.

'' Sorry won't get me my life OK!? It won't " I ran as fast as I could. Not even taking excuse to leave.
I went straight to the hospital.

Looking down at my body I held my hand.

" Why won't you wake up...please. " I started crying.

" what... Who are you? " I heard a very known voice.

" Anna?" I whispered to myself
" Um... Hi? " I saw her eyes swollen kinda red? Was she crying? Is she..?

" What are you doing here Gina? " she asked. Oh right she knows me.

" I'm a friend to her. " I responded.

" oh I never knew....can..I talk to you..you seem nice."she said smiling at me. OK this is creepy.

" Sure I'm a good listener. " I said.

" ....and I cheated on my best friend because of that... I'm a bad person. Oh God kill me now. " she ended, draining herself into tears.

Before she introduced Jordan to me they were dating and then Jordan convinced her he had to date me in order for him to gain more power in his company. They had planned that after the wedding he will have my dad's company under his name and then use it to build up his empire before leaving me. Wow!

I had no word. And then I realized Anna's tears were true tears. She actually regret her actions.

" As long as you realize your mistake it not too late to correct it. I'm sure she would forgive you OK? Don't fuss about it. "

" Thanks Gina you are a true friend. " she wiped her tears.

" No thank you. "

" Huh? "

" I mean for sharing. " I smile at her." I better head on home. " I waved her bye before heading off.
