No one,I mean no one escapes death. Up until now,no one really knows the definition of it:
It was 3:00am and I hadn't slept, my mom was beside my bed asleep, my dad was also sleeping,but he was on the couch. I was just on the bed lying down.
How do someone sleep knowing that he's not gonna be awake to see everyone he went to bed with or vice versa. I've got five hours left.
I smile sadly to myself.
I really hope I see everyone before I go.
" Gemma.....baby?" I heard someone called.
Oh that sweet voice.
" Neil?" I stood up, I looked around looking for him but he was nowhere to be found.
"Neil?" I called once more.
" over here baby" he said once again. But I saw no sign of him.
I looked down and I saw my mum stirring from the movement of my body. I stood up and snuck out of my ward.
" Neil?" I called once more.
" Hey" and then he appeared.
I ran towards him giving him a tight hug.
" I'm sorry for being cold earlier and all. .... " I started.
" shhhh..... It okay princess" he hugs me back squeezing me tight.
When we pulled away,he looks at me with a teary eye.
" Neil?....what's .....what's wrong?" I asked.
He sniffs.
" nothing baby" his emotion changes back to normal.
" But...." I crossed my hand rubbing my arms up and down continuously.
Is it chilly out here or is it just me?
" Shhh...baby you're cold." He then removed his jacket and wrapped me.
" common let's get you inside, you have to rest"
After we got inside he lies me down on the bed,he was about going but I held his hand.
" Stay with me" he then turns to face me.
".....just till I fall asleep... ..please?"
" okay" and then he held my hand and locks our hands together.
" You're gonna be the one who escorts me to the gate right? " I said sleepy.
I didn't wait for his reply before I drifted off to sleep.
